Vince, come home. We got a nose job and a facelift.

I could actually care less if VC comes back if there is a better option available at SF without giving up assets. He may be cheap tho' and therefore ideal. We can't be sure Ross is ready and Loco isn't ready. (Yes, Loco) But VC should be third in depth at the 2 and 3 and would fill in nicely for short injury stints or back-to backs.

Not much left for cheap that can actually contribute and won't take minutes away from developing players. If LeBron can conceive going home, so can VC. Don't make me break out the Vince Carter hall of fame thread.

Chris Broussard: Cavs feel strongly about chances of getting LeBron, but looking at Trevor Ariza as a Plan B. As is Dallas Twitter @Chris_Broussard

- See more at: HoopsHype - NBA Rumors

That's like Plan Z compared to Lebron. That's a huge drop off

He's not credible if he says lbj will annouce anything on his website, twitter or in film. he's not going to announce anything first again unless he has the worst agent ever.

Difference is.... Lebron busted his ass when he was a Cav, achieved great success, and fulfilled his contract to the letter.

Vince whined, cried and faked his way out of Toronto BEFORE his contract was done... and showed little to remorse after the fact.

Bigger market and 30 years ago there was probably just as much interest in the basketball there as in NA.

you can apply your own logic to any business - after all, it's the employees that do all the work, not the owners right? Of course, they did try the version without owners in Russia, China and many other places, and we all know the result.

And btw, having the players "own" the league would just replace one set owners with another. What makes you think the players, who can't even organize their own PA, could manage the league better?

Finally, nothing is stopping players from purchasing teams when they become available, like MJ did. Although you'd be hard pressed to find anybody who is impressed with the job he did in Charlotte.
Wow! You convinced me! Owners are entirely necessary. I mean, the OWN the teams. Can't argue with that circular logic.

Nowhere did i suggest that any other form of organization would run more smoothly. But it would mean our money would follow market principles and possibly allow for some re-investment back into communities if there was a community structure involved. That of course would completely allign with the history of Russia and China i suppose, but what are you gonna do?

Why doesn't that just happen instantaneously? Why does the financial sector become more and more unfair and rigged rather than allowing the growth of coo-ops? If you were making oceans of cash for something that was unnecessary, would you not work to keep the same status quo that ensures that continues? They do have all the contracts in hand, including tv contracts. Baseball saw no change after the world series was cancelled, so i do not hold out any hope. It doesn't make the situation any less repellent in my mind. Bizarre huh?

Chris Sheridan is reporting that LeBron James has privately made his decision to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers and an announcement will be made on LeBronJames.com.

James is also expected the news to be announced before he leaves for the World Cup Final in Brazil, which will be played on Sunday.

James met with Pat Riley on Wednesday to deliver the news. Riley attempted to get James to reconsider by comparing the relative instability of the Cavaliers compared to the Miami Heat. The meeting lasted one hour and a source said that James' stance did not change.

A source says that James' inner circle, from his wife Savannah to his agent Rich Paul and best friends Maverick Carter and Randy Mims are unanimous that he should return to the Cavaliers.

Doesn't really affect us since both Miami and Cleveland are outside of our division, it'll probably affect the west much more
