Could you imagine a Yao and Bron pairing? WOW.

Chinese can keep dreaming... If Lebron doesn't get a title this year he is defenitly going to get a new center.. I think it might be shaq or Elton Brand for some reason..

The fact that this far east company is taking over the Cavs could be a great thing for Lebron. He's always wanted to market himself worldwide, and this would be the best oppourtunity. He wouldn't even have to leave Cleveland..and could be a huge feather in the cap for the Cavs in retaining LBJ.

I think that Big Z has been pretty solid.

Brand would be a nice alternative at PF if he could stay healthy.

In the end, it might not so far fetched. If the Cavs give the Rox a decent deal full of expirings (if they have any), the Rockets might bite. Yao's been very injury prone throughout his career. Might be time for the Rockets to cut their ties and go forward without him (and T-Mac) and start fresh.

The Rockets are serious contenders if they can figure out how to integrate McGrady and McGrady is willing to commit to playing defense. That is, if he's healthy enough. Hell they were contenders without McGrady.

So I mean, the Rockets shouldn't be giving up on Yao just yet. Maybe one more kick at the can with Yao and McGrady and if that doesn't work out, then re-evaluate.

It would be a lethal force. They could afford to give Yao lots of rest. If they're both healthy come playoff time no one would stop them.

Its all just dreaming on their part.

Yao is better than Big Z but he would bring a lot of the same strengths (height, shot blocking, shooting) and weaknesses (durability, foot speed) that Z has so why would Cavs want to do this?

Because Yao is a far superior player. Its asking the Nets why they would want Kobe because they have Vince. Yao is arguably the best center in the league when healthy.

If Yao builds muscle and mass then he will be the best center in the league, the only center who can go against him would be probably Dwight Howard.

how old is he now? 26?
he's still got time to improve.

Yao is 28, and I doubt he`s going to be adding much more weight to his frame at this stage in his career.

If Yao added more muscle his knees would blow up.

Right now Yao is a better player than Dwight Howard, he just needs to stay healthy.
