Chad Ford: Jennings Has 'Irreconcilable Differences' With Bucks

Would the chucker be a good fit in Dallas?

Quote:
Brandon Jennings has "irreconcilable differences" with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to one source.

Jennings is frustrated that he was unable to come to terms with the Bucks on a long-term extension, according to sources.

Jennings is also interested in playing in a bigger market.

The Bucks would be able to match any offer sheet Jennings signs this offseason should they not trade him.

Jennings recently changed agents and either wants to be traded before the deadline, or to sign an offer sheet with a rival team in the summer that is difficult for the Bucks to match.

The Dallas Mavericks, Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks are viewed as the three most likely destinations for Jennings.

he loves TO...BFF with DeRozan........IJS!

Truthfully, what do the Raps offer Lowry and what is he worth?

Also,Jennings is younger and wouldn't need to chuck on a team like Toronto's

Jennings is going to want 12, Lowry should get an Amir contract at best.... We should now forever acknowledge the Amir contract as the baseline. If you're not giving more than Amir, you get less.

12 is steep,i wouldn't do it. Damn,Jeremy Lin fucked up the market lol. He'll want at least the same.

I like Lowry...idk what he deserves. i would hesitate to give him more than what he currently makes(5-6mil per year). This may become a huge question next season.

If DD got 4/38, Jennings is going to want at least that much..... and Kyle no doubt is going to want similar.... This is why Presti is a great GM, he knows how to manage things so that he's not always the guy making this decision because it's a decision that more often than not leads to an overpay.

I don't think Jennings over Lowry is any kind of solution to our woes, nor is being behind Lowry.. We need a Calderon type player as our second/third stringer.. :P

Lowry is a better player than Jennings. Jennings is probably the most inefficient PG in the NBA and he sucks on defence. The team that signs him long term this offseason is going to regret it. The guy hasn't improved at all since coming into the NBA, so that should tell people that he is not a winning player.

I don't think that's a very good assessment. He's shown the ability to be a pest and turn people over and he can be a tough cover.

He's very similar to Lowry while being slightly superior offensively, and slighly inferior defensively- they both tend to get too emotional and play out of control. Neither are very dependable at this point in their careers.

Pretty much, Lowry is a better defender, rebounder and is a little more efficient. And that's when he's not even 100%.

Even if you can prove that Jennings is MARGINALLY better than Lowry...

Jennings will demand waaaay more money to sign vs. Lowry re-signing.

So in terms of value, i'd take Lowry every time. Especially because we're already paying our starting wings $30 mill /yr.

For what it's worth, as a main piece of that team in Milwaukee, they're playing .500 ball with talent very similar to ours. People want to criticize players like Jennings, and Monta even, but they're winners. Neither are going to lay down or chicken out, they just need a proper system to fit into.

Yep - Jennings will be a relevant PG for many years to come.

I'm not sure how I see where those guys are winners. I think Jennings can be. Monta, not so much.
