Cavs vs. Heat: Return of Lebron

This has got to be one of the highest anticipated and watched games this regular season...

Will anything crazy go down?

Quote:
The Cleveland Cavaliers have banned fans from wearing anti-LeBron apparel to the game at Quicken Loans Arena versus the Heat on December 2nd, and the team has added dozens of police officers to help provide a secure environment.

Many officers will be positioned next to Miami's bench and by the tunnel where the players enter and exit the court.

The anger in Cleveland is intense since LeBron James announced on live television that he was leaving the Cavs to sign a free-agent contract with the Heat.

The Cavs are concerned about the image that the city and team might convey to a national audience during the game, as well as being genuinely concerned about safety issues.

"Honestly, I'm a little bit afraid," one member of the Cavs organization told ESPN. "Some people don't care. Their mentality is 'I've got to get this off my chest.' There's so much negative energy around this game. People aren't excited about the game itself. They're just like, 'I can't wait to do something.'"

Inappropriate signs will also be confiscated by team staff members.

aside from Miami losing, it should be business as usual.

They should ban obscene anti-Lebron apparel, but all? Come on! Can't wait for this btw.

this is a pretty bad call by Cavs and arena officials.

I understand getting not allowing signs or apparel that have vulgar messages or are just unsuitable for children, but not letting people express themselves given the situation is harsh and will only hurt the atmosphere of what will be a pretty monumental day in Cavs history. remember all the signs and creative shirts/jerseys people wore when vince and Tracy came back? that shit was great!

Let people vent and voice their frustrations! I see no harm in it.

Even with that, you know everytime LeQuit will touch the ball you will hear the crowd.

To be fair though, we're not half as insane as Cavs fans seem to be.

Even after Vince completely betrayed us I don't recall seeing anyone burning VC jerseys.

I can't wait to see this game tonight. This could potentially be as big as Tupac doing a show in New York at the pinnacle of his and Biggie's war, this is exciting.

I was at VCs first game back and it was deafening, I wouldnt be surprised to see the game being delayed due to stuff being thrown on the court at Lebron before the game. We just booed VC everytime he touched the ball in the pre game after what he did to us, but what Lebron did was 10x worse with the given situation. He was their entire city. I'd be afraid if I was him, they should be spending the night outside of the city sleep wise.

BTW I cant beleive that game is on TSN2 on the 2nd. What the fuck is better than Lebrons turn to CLE that TSN is showing on the first channel? Someone find out.
