Default Carter calls Howard "the biggest crybaby I know."

Dwight Howard fined $25,000, called 'crybaby' by Vince Carter | Basketball | Sports | Toronto Sun

Just all around sad

good for vince, you know Vince in Dallas has really worked out and helped saved his career in the 6th man role, he could very easily been at out of the league if didn't accept a new role the same way Iverson could accept being a back up

Vince is bang on here, he was trying to rattle Howard, and he probably didn't do a great job cause Howard had a great game..... but the Mavs won and Vince helped. Have to respect the role he's taken with that team and his logic about Howard is accurate!

sorry dude, but right or wrong, vince has zero credibility on this issue. it would be like bruce bowen calling someone out for cheap shots. you have to let someone else take that role on if you are notorious for the same thing. vince is one of the most epic whiners of all time in north american pro sports. he just looks like an asswipe in this. even if howard is the 2nd worst whiner of all time, vince is still #1.

haha... you're right, but I still admire what Vince has bought into in Dallas. But if they are truly buddies, I think it's just overblown.... though he probably shouldn't have addressed it after the game like he did.

After reading this thread I checked up on Dallas a bit and turns out they are sitting on an 8W 4L record right now.

I haven't seen any of their games, so I'm wondering how Jose is looking this season? By the stats it appears his assists are down a bit, but overall his numbers seem decent.

Not trying to turn this thread in another direction - just curious.

His assists are down cause Ellis has the ball more.....Ellis and the Diggler have been looking very good (and efficient) as the primary go to's. JC still is a decent player, has a decent shot, still a below decent defender and still a class act team mate - like VC and SM, JC has also accepted his role. I think Dallas would be really tough if they had a Bradley-type of guard (even Shumpert) instead of JC - would shore up that perimeter defence.

They're a fun team to watch.

BTW - talk about calling the kettle black. I've never been as embarrassed of a player as I was to watch VC in his final years here in TO.
