Default Carlesimo out as Nets coach after playoff ouster

Quote:
''The Brooklyn Nets organization would like to thank P.J. for his efforts with the team in his roles as both head coach and assistant, and for his contributions to the team's success both on and off the court. We wish P.J. and his family only the best in the years to come,'' general manager Billy King said in a statement.

Maybe if Carlesimo led the Nets to the Finals and won.....

That is stupid, didn't even give him a chance for a full season.

i thought pj had a good series, he put the players in the right position to win the games

it just came down to who wanted it more

i don't know i got the feeling hte nets team is like a bunch of hired guns, a bunch of mercinaries, well it wasn't there war they got the job done they made the playoffs, the punched there clock and went home

you got to have solders to win wars not mercinaries, bulls are team of hardcore solders marine style,

The black we're a broken down team, the nets had home court advantage and still lost the series. Plus we know they want a big name coach. This move makes sense to me
