Bulls' Noah Benched Sunday By Teammates

Damn .... I thought his teammates benched him for just being ugly. I didn't realize that he got into a heated confrontation with one of the Bulls assistants.

Anyhow, welcome to the pro's rook. :p

Noah was inactive for the Philadelphia game for internal disciplinary reasons, but the players told interim coach Jim Boylan one game was not enough.

"We have a chance to salvage this season and we just need everybody on the page," said Bulls veteran guard Adrian Griffin.

"They just told me what I did was unacceptable and I'm just going to move on from here," Noah said. "I've just got to accept it. What do you want me to say? I've just got to move on. There's nothing I can do about it."

Maybe its that ACIE because there's something about him coming out of college that I didn't like. Not only is he undersized for the position he plays, but I don't think he's going to be anything special in the NBA. I really don't think he's any good. I could be wrong though, because I said the same thing about Aldridge and look at him now. :(

I hated him in college. He's one of those people that just looking at annoys me. Not to mention that every time he made a play at Florida he celebrated afterward like he'd just won the cahmapionship.

The funny thing too about Aldridge Doc is that his defence was touted as NBA ready and his offense needing a lot of work, but every time I've seen him he's looked really nice offensively and slighly below average on D.

Absolutely, I said that coming out of Texas that all he could do offensively is dunk and do that baby hook. The rest of his arsenal was just garbage baskets. Now since coming into the NBA he's developed a nice mid-range jumper (ala Chris Bosh) and some moves in the post. Defensively, maybe I haven't watched enough Portland games this season, but I don't think his defense is any worse than Bosh's is.

Ball Don't Lie 01-13-2008 06:22 PM

His D is a lot better than Bosh's, but that might just be because McMillan actually switches up his defences when they're not working and has different sets he uses, compared to ours where well, we dont switch much. I think his help D especially is miles ahead of Bosh's(except in the 4th when you can see Bosh really goes hard and shows up early on screens).

Not surprised by this. I'm more surprised the Bulls took him at 9 instead of Spencer Hawes. Funniest thing is that he doesn't see anything wrong with it. I'm glad he got benched. He should realize that he's not setting the league on fire and for the first season or two, he needs to keep his mouth shut, absorb whatever the coaches are teaching him and go out and play hard without being a jackass. Too late.

Even if Bargs wasn't selected #1, it would have been Rudy Gay - the only other guy who had a clean bill of health coming out of college. Anybody else thought that Bargs was useless on the floor tonight?

INSIDER 01-14-2008 12:04 PM

ughhh noah.
its one thing to be a total disapointment and suck badly.
but to be a total disapointment, suck badly, and now be a pain in the team and coaches ass???
can i say worst draft pick ever?

who ever said this kid would be good in the NBA needs to be slaped.
i remember analysts had him as #1 prospect the year he decided to go back to school... wow. my little cousin has a better jumper than he does.
better hair too.
