Default Build a Non-All-Star Team

Create a team with a 15-man roster; however, there are three rules:

1. All players must currently be playing in the NBA.
2. All players must have never, ever played in an All-Star Game - not even one game (rookie-sophomore game doesn't count).
3. No rookies on your roster - so all players must at least be in their second year.

Haven't Gay and Aldridge been all-stars?

Damn.... thought they were for sure at some point. Last year? No?

Bynum! Ah, I forgot about Bynum. Marc Gasol as well.

There are a bunch of good young center's out there that haven't gotten the All-Star nod yet. Hibbert as well.

I would pretty much go with my team from the fantasy draft. I'll tweak it a bit

Lawson
Ariza
Deng
Aldridge
M Gasol

Ilyasova
Tony Allen
R Fernandez
Speights
Jared Dudley
Nene
Conley or Heinrich
Battier
Mike Miller

It gets tough for me, because I want to make it realistic and not load the bench full of players that would need, and should get big minutes. Nene probably doesn't really work, but considering how much he gets hurt, maybe he does.

A couple of people picked Granger. He made the 2009 all-star game.

That's a good idea, too. I'll have to think about submitting another team that has true backup players.

I would keep my original starting lineup, which has good balance and defence. I've edited the bench to make it more "realistic".

Starters:

PG - John Wall
SG - Kevin Martin
SF - Andre Iguodala
PF - LeMarcus Aldridge
C - Andrew Bynum

Bench:
PG - Andre Miller
G - George Hill
SG - James Harden
G/F - Kyle Korver
G/F - Rudy Fernandez
F - Thaddeus Young
PF - Brandon Bass
F/C - Al Harrington
C - Tiago Splitter
C - Byron Mullens
