Seattle has plans for a new arena, but it is contingent on commitments from both an NHL and NBA team. Its location is also being fought by the Mariners, as they say the area cannot hold another major sporting arena.

i've been to plenty mariners games. i don't know what the mariners owner is talking about. there is definitely enough room there AND baseball and basketball season aren't conflicting with one another. he's just being a douche

The Kings appear set to leave Sacramento and reports have surfaced that Vancouver is the most likely destination. But Francesco Aquilini, the man in charge of Rogers Arena and the Vancouver Canucks, said he has nothing in the works to bring the NBA back to Vancouver.

"I can tell you we don't have any plans to bring an NBA team to Vancouver," Aquilini told the Vancouver Province.

i was just going to say, other than a reporter stating vancouver is a 'viable option', is there anything more to this? Is there a group looking to land a team?
