Brent Barry signs with Rockets
This was a good pick-up by Houston. They need a Barry-type player. Rockets are going to be pretty good this year. But then again....who's not

Barry was one of the Rockets' top off-season targets -- in fact, he was contacted by team officials the minute the free agent recruiting period commenced.
The former Spur brings a sweet shooting stroke and a bevy of postseason experience to Houston. For his career, Barry has made more than 40 percent of his shots from beyond the three point arc. And while injuries limited his effectiveness at times last season, he proved to be a valuable weapon during the playoffs thanks to his red-hot shooting (46.3 percent on 3s) and a superb performance in Game 4 of the Conference Finals when he exploded for 23 points.

good move for houston.
barry has always been a well respected and consistant player who makes teams better.
he'll benifit from a houston team that needs some veteran leadership and a proven winner, and the team will definitely benifit having him on the roster.
