I think Lebron was far more valuable in Cleveland than he is in Miami. I've seen enough of both that I disagree, no big deal.

but it's not a debate on when he was more valuable, but rather is he more valuable than Durant, and imo, He is incredible for the heat. He is the glue between a guy like Bosh and wade, and makes everyone around him infinitely better. the true definition of a point forward. athletic enough to outboard most pf's in the game, skilled enough to outscore anyone when needed, and talented enough to be able to make his team nearly unbeatable. Durant only fills two of those holes, lebron has it all.

you forgot the fourth measure, the ability to close out games.... Durant is miles ahead of Lebron this year. The reality is that the Heat have enough talent outside of LBJ that they're often in blowouts and don't need LBJ to close down the stretch and when it is close, they've got a better closer on their team.

Please provide any evidence to support this thesis that is largely erroneous yet gets said over and over. Don't just listen to media themes.

LeBron has been pretty good in closing out games this year. You guys sound like haters when you say otherwise. If I can give props to LBJ, others should have no problem with it. Sans a few fourth quarters in which he looked invisible, he's been pretty good. Obviously he's not the best, but he's not a liability like people try to claim he is. He tries to stay aggressive and put pressure on the D. But the problem is this: his clutch play drops DRAMATICALLY when he shares the floor with Wade. When Wade is out, LeBron plays like a free man and is FORCED to close out games because no one else can. Did you see what he did against Nets and Houston recently? Both times Wade was out. I know its Nets/Houston, but the shit was still pretty ridiculous. When he's WITH Wade, I really think sometimes this whole "who takes the last shot" gets to LeBron's head and too often he just hands the ball to Wade and stands in the corner (literally). They usually end up taking turns, instead of working together. I think that's their biggest problem, that they don't have that synergy on the court yet.

Oh, and LBJ wins MVP easily...
