Multiple media reports over the weekend said that a dispute over a gambling debt led to a conflict between Arenas and Javaris Crittenton.

Multiple sources told ESPN.com that an argument commenced during a card game on the team's overnight flight back to Washington from Phoenix on Dec. 19 and escalated into a heated exchange between Arenas and Crittenton. The Wizards had Dec. 20 off, but sources say hostilities between the two Wizards guards resumed Dec. 21 in the locker room on a practice day.

If I was Stern I would make a HUGE example out of him. I would try kick him right out of the league.

I would kick him out for the action alone. My point (maybe not so well put) is that if you go easy on him it won't help clean up these kinds of problems.

i think its acceptable, aren't uzi's sold at walmart in america? its just how they are in america

poor gilbert, management is gonna use this to terminate his horrible contract, they will expose this as much as possible

I don't know about Uzis but when I lived in North Carolina you could walk down the street to a K-Mart and buy an AK-47.

Either way you have to have a license to carry a firearm in D.C., whether the gun is being sold at the corner store or not. Gil didn't have a permit.

I have leniencyw ith Crittenton just because he had a gun pulled on him and got his own in "self defence". At least this is the claim he has.
