we only lost TJ Ford, all other players involved had played sporadically and had no impact. Philadelphia not only that has no more cap space, but it will have to go over the luxury tax if they want to sign igoudala this summer, so they are in a worse situation compared to us.

And no, I wasn't looking for that headline, I was looking for ONE reference to our trade. The Raptor's trade was mentioned for a couple of days (just one article by Hollinger) and then it got replaced on the home page on ESPN by the Jefferson trade who stayed there until recently ... They will be talking about the Brand trade for the rest of the summer.

Even when talking about big moves in the past year that have the potential to bring he East back to parity with the West, they mentioned Lewis, Garnett, Brand and somehow ignored O'Neal.

Uh, maybe that's because Jermaine was already in the East. So that trade doesn't make the East any stronger. The other fellows they mentioned came over from the West, you see, thus weakening that conference while improving the East.

Rasho Nesterovic was a MUCH more important player to the Raptors than either Calvin Booth or Rodney Carney were for the Sixers.

And if all you care about is ESPN coverage, get used to hearing nothing about Canada. Welcome to the NHL's world. They've got an entire league that doesn't get mainstream media coverage down there, and theres 20+ teams in the States.

Any sites that provide nothing but quality basketball coverage (remember, ESPN is very much in the entertainment business) gave plenty of proper coverage to the JO deal.

hey I heard that Baron Davis has cancelled his press conference today to announce his signing, apparently he's pissed. He has an agreement in principle with the clippers and I think he can back out of the deal if he wants.

Well i'll be!!!

Yeah that's big news. He should stay in GS for the better of the team. But since this team is already screwed up, I say "Get yer ass in LA, Baron!!"
