Bosh surprised about all star votes

HAHAHAH!

Quote:

Bosh, for his part, seems perplexed by his relative unpopularity. Told by a reporter he was running fifth in fan voting among Eastern forwards, he replied in the Miami Herald recently: “I’m fifth? I thought coming here would change that. Oh, well.” That he apparently took for granted the ballot-box-stuffing loyalty of the Raptors’ tremendous fan base, which made him an Eastern starter last year, is no shock; reality-based surveys of the situation have never been Bosh’s strength. Luckily for Bosh, while teaming with James and Wade could turn out to be his all-star deal-breaker, delusion never will be.
p.s all the bosh haters should read rest of article

Feschuk: Chris Bosh goes from all-star in Toronto to third wheel in

Aamir 01-12-2011 12:49 AM

Funny how Boston's big three each made the all-star team the first year and Bosh can't LOL.

tettays 01-12-2011 12:50 AM

i don't know, the way I read it was Bosh was being sarcastic and doesn't really care..."oh, well" kinda gives it away.

Superjudge 01-12-2011 12:52 AM

Feschuck has gotta get past this now. No?

Don Vito 01-12-2011 12:52 AM

Bosh is going to take this to heart... he is the kind of guy that cares about all-star votes. Remember when he had to beg on youtube for votes? yeah... he cares that he isn't going to the all-star game, regardless of what he says.

why, it's funny. and really, it's bosh's own words and delusions about his standing in the league that makes this comical.

INSIDER 01-12-2011 01:01 AM

if it makes him feel any better, both his teammates will be voted in.
he should be happy for them.

Like when he was moping on the bench when Miami was winning against us by like 15 and he had an off night? loll

Not be recognized as an all-star, yet play a critical role on the best team in the East....

OR

Be an all-star and play for a piece of shit team.

Pretty easy decision really... and not one that I'd lose any sleep over.

Bosh's ego has taken a bruising

AP we miss you!!!!!!!!!!! 01-12-2011 01:48 AM

He's clearly being sarcastic. Bosh is tired of all the hate coming from toronto.

Reporters constantly changing his words up, and Raptor fans consistently forgetting what he contributed for the Raptors.

He would constantly state that the biggest reason he left Toronto was for more exposure. lol @ you if you believe he couldn't care less about not being at the all-star game.

What exactly did he contribute to the Raptors might I add? If you are content with first-round playoffs then all power to you.

Lol... have you seen our team without him? Where exactly did you expect him to take us on his own?

You've seen firsthand what happened to your boy Kobe when he didn't have Shaq or Pau... 1st round exit (or missed playoffs)... just like Bosh. ;)

A 7th seed in the WC during those years equated to a top 3 team in the East lol

And the fact that he had Kwame Brown and Smush Parker as STARTERS on his team makes it even more impressive. At least the Raptors have had some decent talent over the past years to support their franchise player.

Me too. Being an all-star isn't everything, it's the only thing.

Meh, he's still gonna be an All-Star just like he's always been.

Maybe the city of Miami voted for him, but Wade and James have star power. Bosh doesn't.

Who really cares?

b55bgc 01-12-2011 09:54 AM

He is an all-star callibre player. The voting system sucks big time.
Its just a popularity contest. Yao MIng will probally get voted in.
