Perfect. Then we agree that there are times when fans can be idiotic and don't necessarily reward the best players with votes.

Case in point... Carmelo having more votes than Dirk...

Guess Howard isn't much of a defender either eh?
In the playoffs against ORL, Bosh was a non-factor. The dude simply cant perform in the clutch, takes shitty mid range shots when other teammates are open.

and big deal he may have had occasional games where he dominated a strong defensive team, but the majority of the time against those teams he disappeared. Especially against boston, garnett made him his bitch.

stop over praising bosh. he is a good player dont get me wrong, but DEFINETELY NOT AN ALLSTAR

it doesn't matter - the votes go by forwards. they don't break down the pfs and sfs

In the playoffs ORL got smart and doubled and tripled Bosh... forcing anyone else to make shots. They couldn't. So we lost. GS did the same thing to Dirk a few years back... remember how that turned out?

"Can't perform in the clutch"? So he DIDN'T hit 4 gamewinners for us last season then?

"The majority of those times (against strong teams) he disappeared. More fiction. The ONE team and the ONE player that has been able to consistently give Bosh problems is KG.

If you don't think that Bosh is an all-star then you don't know what an all-star is.... plain & simple.

I don't care to say whether Bosh did this or did that when he was here.... He was a good player. I just don't consider him worth what he was getting paid. It's not about Bosh versus Bargnani... but rather is Bosh an allstar? This year, I don't think he is. Does that mean I don't know what an allstar is? A case could be made for either side, but if you consider once an allstar always an allstar, then of course he is. I just don't see it that way.

Bosh just hasnt had the same opportunities to play like he did in Toronto.
If you asked me, who would you rather have on your team, Bosh or KG. I would hands down say Bosh.
Sorry, KG is a great player and motivator, but he is older and slower and less reliable.

The guy said that sarcastically. I have read this same quote somewhere else and it's pretty old.

KG also came out of highschool... of course he's more worn down... but he was way better than Bosh in his prime.

Were still way better than Cleveland! if you put Lebron instead of Bosh on our team we would be a top 2-3 team in the east IMO

ummmmm..... do you not see how the cavs are playing? when lebron was on that team, they had the best record in the NBA... maybe they could have won the whole thing if delonte didn't sleep with momma james. and now look at the cavs, sucking some big balls. Bosh can't do it himself. he's not your typical franchise player. he jsut happens to be the best player on a crap team.

It's cause big Z left... lol

HBB makes a great point, and it's very hard to argue that Bosh is anywhere near LBJ's level.

Agreed! I doubt Bosh is just shrugging it off that easily. The reason he went to Miami is to get more exposure.

Sure, he'll eventually win some rings by joining the Heat but I don't think he's getting the fame he was hoping for.

Its the Big 2.5!

It would be really funny if in the future, Miami wins a couple championships and Wade and Lebron Make the HOF....and Bosh doesn't.......In bosh's eyes it would be like the championships never happened lol

No, most Heat fans are actually voting for Amar'e over Bosh to start.

Say all you want ToRap, but you, me, and my deceased great grandmother knows Bosh is definitely bothered by this. Bosh is probably one of the BIGGEST attention and media whores in the NBA, everyone knows this.

What was his primary reason for leaving? He has said countless times its "because he wasn't on TV." "I want people to know me." yadda yadda yadda... He made a lame attempt at a funny video to garner fan votes! C'mon now what serious NBA player does that in his spare time to try and get FAN VOTES?

And there you are saying "Bosh is being sarcastic with his comments, he doesn't care about the all-star game," "he is the best player in the NBA, he is a GOD."

No doubt he is a good player, but an attention whore at the same time and he is definitely crying himself to sleep because of the lack of attention he is receiving lol and Raptor fans are LOVING it.

Lol... yeah... bc I said any of that. *rolls eyes*

I'm sure that the lack of all-star votes DOES bother him some... but he's getting what he wanted now. He's playing on national TV WAY more than he ever did before and he has a legit shot at multiple titles with this team.... so I think he'll get over it if he doesn't make the all-star team.

So what's your point? Bron > Bosh?

No kidding!

If that's the bar that every player in the NBA has to be measured against then there isn't a single player in the league who's worth anything outside of maybe Dirk (who has also done very well with some suspect casts).

No point blaming Bosh when 98% of the other stars in the NBA can't do it alone either.

its weird though... the reason he wanted to be on national tv and be in the spotlight was to get his 'brand' out there, be more popular, become a superstar household name. Yet, with all of this exposure it would seem he's less popular now - according to the fan voting at least.

he was more popular playing in Toronto than he is playing in Miami.

About a dozen games? Kwame started 49 in 05/06 and Smush started all 82. What's a dozen to over 120 games between these two scrubs?
