Solomon actually started about a dozen games or so for us the year that we had him.

Poor Kobe. Guy had to endure TWO seasons with a mediocre roster. HOW EVER DID HE COPE????

it's funny, but having read the quote you totally get the impression that he was trying to be sarcastic. At the same time if people think he isn't dissapointed that his all star vote numbers are down, then they are fooling themselves.

starting because of injuries while being considered the third pg on the team is different than being named the starter out of training camp like Smush was....

It's not about blaming bosh... it's about recognizing he isn't the typ of player that could carry or will a team to the playoffs.... Amare is proving he is with a team of misfits much like Wade did a year ago.

Anybody see Aldridge dominate Bosh last week? He's definitely emerged as a big time player.... Aldridge that is.

That's ridonkulous. People are going to see what they want to see.

Bosh is going to have games where he's going to get dominated numerically. The key will be bringing a solid effort each game on the defensive end and providing efficiency offensively.

Aldridge made some baskets, but Bosh had some key stops in the fourth as well, all one on one coverage.

It just isn't going to look pretty from a numbers standpoint. I know some Raptor fans really want Bosh to care about that, but he looks pretty satisfied just winning basketball games.

the story is misleading.

Bosh has only started in the allstar game twice. once because of fan voting and once because KG was injured...

so he's basically getting the same amount of votes...but i do understand the hopes of going to miami would increase his popularity....which apparently has not

It's pretty telling when every other possession is dump it in to Aldridge and go to work on Bosh.... Bosh should have been insulted, but he couldn't do much about it. It's the truth.

Aldridge was their only option really. Miller was having a horrible game.

Bosh had a big stop with a minute left, he didn't let him catch the ball in the final possession of regulation either. Aldridge had a string of moves in the fourth where he muscled in some tough baskets.

Bosh also hit two jumpers right in Aldridge' eye in OT, and shut him down in OT as well...

Maybe he was insulted?? Maybe he was happy because he helped his team win the game?? Why the need to hate on Bosh?

Remember when Bosh was here and we played ORL?

Down the stretch nearly every possession was a dump into Bosh in the high post so he could isolate on D12.... and he scored (or got fouled) pretty much every time and had monster games against one of the better defensive teams in the league.

Guess Howard isn't much of a defender either eh?

Sour grapes lol... plain & simple.

I've hated VC for years with the fire of 1000 white hot burning suns.... but I never once slammed his talent once he left the team.

I'll never understand why people go to such great lengths to try and INVENT ways to make Bosh look bad. Hell, he's twice the player that Bargs is and people love HIM off ad infinitum.

I am sure he realized that going to Miami would diminish his star quality. Only a foold wouldnt recognize this when placed on the same team as Wade and LBJ.

Imagine if you will Bargnani goign to miami now. Tell me his star status which he has now wouldnt be diminished. Not taking away from how skilled a player he is, but being there would totally kill his star status which has increased dramatically since Bosh left.

Or some people just never liked Bosh in the same vein as some people have never liked Kobe and some have never like Jordan etc.

Bosh is a nice player but I'm not about to anoint him or give him praise for any more than he is.

you're comparing a C on a PF? Alrdridge is supposedly a lesser version of Bosh... it's completely a ridiculous comparison. Bosh on Dwight is a matchup to exploit on one end.... LA vs Bosh is PF versus PF.... and Bosh got exposed. No hate... just saying he's not the saviour he's made out to be. I've advocated he's better than AB, and I love AB as a player too. Value wise, I think AB is better.

Lol... so is D12 some big, plodding hulk like Mark Eaton or something? He's one of the most athletically gifted players in the NBA!

You want a better comparison? Do you remember Amare torching Duncan everytime the Suns matched up with the Spurs? And this was when TD was in his PRIME.

Aldridge's game is improving this year. He's been gaining confidence now that he's been given the reigns so to speak... and he was always a decent player. Besides.. like bjjs said... Bosh stopped him in OT and the Heat won the game so what the hell is the problem?? Was Bosh supposed to make him go 0/15 for the entire game?

No problem... just that Bosh isn't an allstar this year. Boom.
