I read somewhere that it could be much more serious than that (and lost the link), but i really don't mind if one of the mods change the title

Strained abdominal muscle...Doesn't seem too severe of an injury to end a players season.

unless they're downplaying it and it's a torn muscle.

If he stayed in toronto he wouldn't be in the playoffs and wouldn't have gotten injured

He's tough, he'll play. Maybe sit 1-2 games, maybe.

It's the playoffs, you gotta play the back room games like an angry Russian poker player.

Makes me almost wish the Heat win without him.

Haahh, i'm the opposite. I'd love to see them lose and sit back and see what the Bosh haters say. That would be more funny imo. That, and i just want the heat to lose, with or without Bosh. But Bosh is my 3rd least favourite player on that team.

Everyone with this injury seem to miss at least a couple weeks. I'd be surprised if we see him in this series. Especially when people are saying this is easy to re-injure and keep you out longer if you try to rush back.

they can win without him, but they'll have to run lebron and wade into the ground. And lebron might take it, but wade hasn't looked all that spry lately and he had a bunch of injuries this season already.

and even lebron, play him 44 minutes and ask him to carry both the offense and the defense, there are limits to everything.

meanwhile, SAS and OKC are pacing themselves in the west.

I think Indiana has a good shot to beat Miami now, but if Bosh misses 3 weeks, they're done imo. They're still favourites to make the finals with Chicago gone, but their chances to win it all just went the way of the greek debt ...

I'll say this though, if they do win it, Lebron's status will go through the roof.
