The Heat were at their most dominant when all 3 stars were involved and playing well.

Take ANY one out of the equation and they're not winning a title.
All three of them in the equation didn't win them a title.

Wade won a title without Lebron or Bosh in the equation.

Just face it, Bosh is overrated.

i don't think he's overrated at all. most see him as a good player/piece but not a top star and not a franchise player either. i just think most here are way too sensitive when it comes to him and often objectivity goes flying out the window.

Honestly... I'm not even going to bother.

The question of whether or not he's a "franchise player" is irrelevant (at least to me). You don't win championships with one player.... even if he's the best in the league. You need TWO stars (preferably 1 big and 1 small) if you're going to some real damage in the playoffs... AND you need a solid bench and a strong defensive identity as a team.

Did you see ANY of those things around Bosh when he was here in Toronto?

No other star.

No bench.

No defense.

Horrible rebounding and shotblocking (outside of Bosh).

That's why it boggles my mind when people fault him for not leading us further than he did. You can't make shit shine.

I still maintain that if we had been fortunate enough to draft Curry instead of DD and paid for Marion instead of Hedo we'd have probably had a DAMN good squad right there that would have complimented Bosh nicely. THAT's what it's about.... getting the most out of your star while working to add pieces that minimize his weaknesses. That's exactly what DAL did last year with Dirk... and they won a title because of it.

Sure Bosh would get wrecked on the defensive end, but he has an offensive advantage against every center he'd play because he's actually very mobile.

Bosh is a funny soft guy. But he tries to replace those amicable qualities with fake toughness. it's not gonna happen. He should stop caring what others think of him and find his niche. In an honest scenario he'll probably end up being a trickster for the Clippers, with Blake and any chance of success long gone..
