Boozer Still May be on the Trading Block

Quote:
Carlos Boozer surprised the Jazz by not opting out of his contract…as did Mehmet Okur. Kyle Korver, too. Now Utah has a tough choice: who to dump so they can bid for Paul Millsap. It’s not as much a problem next year as it is beyond that. So the Jazz might accept an expiring contract plus other enducements for Boozer.

He'll end up in Detroit if he gets traded.

In that case, does this mean that he will play C there?

Since, well, Kwame is a scrub and CV sure as hell won't be starting at the 5 there.

Boozer is too undersized to play Center. He is only 6'8.5"

Pistons-Jazz still talking about Boozer for Hamilton swapTalks continue between the Detroit Pistons and Utah Jazz about a Carlos Boozer(notes)-Rip Hamilton trade, according to the News-Herald in Northern Ohio.

Hamilton didn't fit with Allen Iverson(notes) this season, and he won't fit with newly acquired Ben Gordon(notes). In fact, Gordon has become Iverson. He has no conscience when taking shots.

wonder what they'll do with Tayshaun

Stuckey/Gordon/CV/Boozer

maybe Prince will accept a bench role

man, that's a bad defensive line up

There is 5 guys in a lineup, so he will fit in at the 3.

Maxiell is too short for center. Again he is only 6'7.5". That lineup would be very very very undersized.

Meh, Kurt Thomas or Antonio Davis, other undersized Cs, had no problems holding their own playing at the 5 for most of their careers.

Your right but that Pistons lineup has no shotblocking down low. Boozer doesn't even average a half a block a game. Also, Maxiell doesn't even average 1 block a game. How many times will Tayshaun prince be down low??
