Default Blatt to coach Cavs

David Blatt is new coach of Cleveland Cavaliers - ESPN

I am very happy for him. For years now, I've been advocating getting either Messina or him to coach the Raps, seeing as how successful these guys were at various levels in Europe, coaching a strong system that didn't rely on individual players, but rather on the team concepts.

Good signing by the Cavs. I just hope they actually give him a fair shake and let him coach for at least 3yrs of the 4yr contract.

Coach Mike Brown is the wealthiest NBA coach, and he's not even on a team this year.

Great work Cleveland. Couple more moves and LeBron will be aching to come home.

His relationship with Kyrie is already one of the most intriguing things going into next years NBA season. It's going to be very interesting to see how Blatt uses him, and how he deals with Kyries lack of effort defensively at times. I think he's going to ultimately get the best out of Kyrie, and naysayers will be changing their tune with regard to how they perceive Kyrie as Blatt helps him develop into a superstar. Kyrie IS that good IMO.

great move by cavs, if kyrie gives him some respect Cleveland could improve lots.

heard rumors that maybe blatt would get an assistant job with raps with a possibility of inheriting casey one day, too bad that didn't come true
