Smile Big 3 vs Big 3

Which Big 3 would you take?

Allen-Pierce-Garnett (in their prime)

OR

Wade-Lebron-Bosh

And let's hope this doesn't become a Bosh debate.

The Boston trio in their prime... much more balance.

the boston trio never really played together in their prime. do you mean assembling them from each of their primes or playing at the highest level they had together?

and i'm also not sure that the miami trio has even reached their prime yet.

In each of their prime? Or the 07-08 Celtic team?

If it's KG, Pierce, Allen all in their prime on the same team it's definitely them. Pierce and Allen would match up kind of evenly with LBJ and Wade but KG would rape Bosh a new one.

If it's the 07-08 team vs this year's Heat squad, it might sound silly but I'll take Boston. Heat's big 3 have the more talented trio, but Boston's championship team was so unselfish, not too mention Rondo running it and Perk in the middle. Heat don't have anything close to those two. Boston had a great bench too...

and last scenario, if it's a 3on3, this time I would take the Heat. LBJ and Wade are too skilled.

I meant prime together. When they were assembled they were kind of still in their prime. Albeit the tail end of it. But they weren't much older then Wade currently is.

if i could get 05-07 sonics era ray-ray, 02-07 t-wolves era kg and 05-07 pierce, i'd probably take that big 3, just because kg is more post dominant than Bosh and the team has a more balanced attack. but the more the miami 3 play together, the less i hang on to that nostalgia. if james can prove that he can keep it together in crunch time i'd take him alone over any other big 3.

In their prime... Pierce/Allen would even out LeBron/Wade but KG would kill Bosh so easily it wouldnt be funny

Lebron>Pierce
Wade>Allen
Bosh<<KG

If you fill in the rest of the line-up with replacement level players... Tough call. I honestly think I'd take the heat trio. If they win the title this year you could argue they had the same level of success, but Boston also had Rondo and Perk. Then again, that's a big if.

If they're playing 3 on 3 it's not even close.

The Big 3 C's need their bigger fourth.

I'd take Bostons big 3 because of their chemistry in that their playing styles fit much better together than Miamis, as well as KG having the biggest matchup advantage.

Damn, I didn't read your post. Only read the title. However, I would pick KG, Pierce, and Allen in there prime. They compliment each others games so well.
