Lebron is still a better all around player than Durant. The only way Durant surpasses him IMO is if Durant leads his team to title Dirk style. Durant has gotten a lot better in terms of finding his teammates and on the defensive end, but Lebron is still on another level. But again, it's what you do in the playoffs that count, so we'll see.

Thrills hit it on the head.

What Lebron did to Rose defensively last season in the playoffs cemented his place in my eyes as the unquestioned best player in the game.

I've yet to see Durant impact a game like that defensively and until he does (and proves that he can consistently move the ball and create for teammates) he'll be 2nd best.

Pierce is a legend. He's had Lebrons number on numerous occasions. If he was a member here he would vote for himself.

Melo's sad you didn't even include him in the poll.

Why would you put Pierce over Rudy Gay, Caremlo?

i guess you didn't watch Durantula completely shut down LeBron in every facet of the game a couple weeks ago.

He had LeBron looking like James Johnson.

I believe they are equal in rebounding.

Lol.. and then what happened the next time they played?

34/7/10 from Lebron in a Heat win.

Anyone can have a bad game. I want to see Durant shut someone down CONSISTENTLY before I start giving him credit for stuff like that.

Why are you including a Celtic player in all of these polls with the best players? Its a Raps forum so shouldnt it be Durant, LBJ, and James Johnson at SF and Kobe, Wade, and DD at SG?

completely skimmed over consistently lol, my bad

but yes LeBron is clearly the better overall player than Durant, Durant is a superior scorer but that's about it really.

Yep. Only one can call himself a champion. Only one has shut down the presumed best player on the planet at that time.

That player couldn't be a champion without two HOF players playing with him.

so?

Is Lebron going to win a championship by himself? is Durant?

Lebron couldnt do it with a top 3 player and a top 10 player beside him. lebron, Bosh and wade are all, arguably, the best at their position today.

Paul Pierce has been in teams with horrible supporting casts. He has never had the opportunity to play alongside the talents these guys have (in their prime).

is lebron more talented? yes. more physically gifted? yes.

Who do i want with the ball in a game seven of the finals? Paul Pierce.
