Being to the Greek press (gazzetta.gr) the faraonico market of the Pireo it has not still had fine: the leadership of the red Athenian, still to the search of un' small wing of international level, would have taken to information care all' former Miami Heat Ricky Davis, able to go in double figure of average for points realized in last the seven seasons nba. For how much l' fascinating hypothesis or, is from remembering like Davis, discreetly indisciplinato in its last currently free experiences and agent, was accustomed to earn advanced figures to 7 mln $ and it is not easy that, also the munificent Greek leadership, or in a position to assicurargli a figure near those standard
7 mil for Ricky Davis, hahahahah. Cya Rick

Ah well ... with basketball becoming more and more international its just going to have to be something to get used too from here on out. More and more NBAer's will test the market overseas especially when teams are shelling out the money they are for average players at best. :face4:

HA!

They can have him.

I wouldn't pay Ricky Davis 7 dollars.

LX 07-22-2008 04:22 PM

Just don't tell me they're thinking of giving him 7 million euros.

MetroStar 07-24-2008 06:21 AM

This is not true. According to my information it was just a rumor. I mean not even in Mongolia they would pay $7 millions for a guy like Davis...

That's not true. Basketball is loved in Europe since thr 70's-80's and in Greece we are crazy about basketball since the 80's. It's not that the basketball is now becoming more international. It is that we are more hungry for better basketball and the teams in Europe have unlimited money to spend. When the star players will see that average players in Europe are earning more than them in the NBA they will start coming to the other side of the Altantic massively.

MetroStar 07-24-2008 12:17 PM

I ve already stated that's not true. It's just a game of the managers.

Gurk 07-26-2008 05:20 AM
