Up to 118 on the hwy you don't gain points when pulled over. I was told by a couple cops (one being a friend, the other my cousin), that if you stay in the 118-120 range it's very unlikely you get pulled over. I always hit cruise around 118-119. I've never once received a ticket while on the highway.

If you're gonna speed, pick your spots. Having trees on you is risky if you're drawing extra attention to yourself by speeding.

My favorite time to drive is 9pm on a Friday night. Scary but exciting. 130km is the average on the 401 west at that time.

Ok then you're risking getting a 200$ or so fine + 3pts.

BC always says abt the flexibility and cap space and a good position and blah blah blah.... but seriously, how many FA he was able to sign through free agency? Financial flexibility means nothing if you don't use it to sign big names who can improve the team.
I heard it too often from BC. I will believe it when I see a big name signs here buy choice, from the free agency, and no this doesn't include Hedo....

it's a misnomer that cap flexibility is useless if you don't use it for free agency. it is also very valuable in trades because you don't need to match salary.

With the new CBA it'll mean more then ever if there's a hardcap and we have money to spend and teams like NY, Miami, LAL, CHI have no space and if anything might have to cut loose some players.

I really cant understand how all signs and cap works. What happens to Lakers if there's a hardcap? I just checked Lakers' salaries, Kobe alone will make $30,453,000 in 13/14... Is it means Lakers are doomed?

They would have to ask players to surrender some salary.

i really doubt the players will forfeit their own money. if anything, i could see the current contracts already on the books counting towards a certain percentage of the cap until they're expired.

That citation former Heat forward Michael Beasley received last week for possession of marijuana?

Strictly a legal issue, nothing more.

An NBA spokesman confirmed Wednesday to the Sun Sentinel what logic would have dictated anyway:

In the void of an NBA collective-bargaining agreement, there is no substance-abuse policy currently in place. None.

“The anti-drug agreement — including testing and penalties — is not in effect during the lockout,” league spokesman Tim Frank said in an email.

And, 2 years later he's been arrested for speeding and weed again. Super cool, Beas. Super cool.
