I hate to be sacrilege, but Wilt had this record and his 100 points because there were no goal-tending rules. He was the first seven footer that had any skills and just went over every one and cleaned up EVERYTHING...including balls on the rim (I'm guessing JV is missing those days too).

His records should have an asterisks. Or at least have pre-goaltending rules and post. Just like they have pre-shotclock records.

Only Pop can field a lineup of Cory Joseph, Patty Mills, De Colo, Manu, and Jeff Ayres and not lose his job.

Heat fans are so damned spoiled that it's ridiculous.

If we had a team like that here we'd sell out every game and the seats would be FULL by tip off.

Not entirely sure of that. The people in the greys are notoriously nonchalant. Not just at starts of games, but to start second halves. It's not about fans as much as it is about money. I'm sure lots of fans in many cities would be happy to fill the good seats. Those that can afford to can also afford to miss the game altogether.

I wish Cleveland would trade Bennett to a team looking to tank or grow young players. It's stupid what they are doing with him right now and Cleveland, and I doubt they will make the playoffs. They are stunting him growth, and ruining his morale. It's a shitty situation all around. Pisses me off whenever I think about it.
