Durant with a big 48 point game tonight versus that of the combo of Love and Pek. Love drops 30 points and 14 boards and Pek drops 31 and 11 and they still lose

Their recent winning streak has way more to do with Thaddeus Young shredding everyone in his path than it does MCW. MCW has struggled mightily lately

And to think some posters wouldn't want Thad on this team. He'd fit right in

What a disaster the Bucks are...

Quote:
The Bucks placed a lot of faith in Larry Sanders by signing him to a four-year, $44 million contract extension this summer, even though his game hadn’t reached a level worthy of that deal just yet.

Not that the team had much of a choice — a developing big man will command those types of dollars from someone, and Milwaukee is a small, unattractive market where star players aren’t exactly clamoring to play when it’s time to choose a new team in free agency.

But Sanders has been anything but a franchise cornerstone this season, questioning his playing time under new head coach Larry Drew, and then getting into a fight in a bar where he sustained an injury that required surgery and sidelined him for almost two months.

Now that he’s back, things are far from harmonious, and things boiled over into an argument in the locker room with Gary Neal following Milwaukee’s loss in Phoenix on Saturday.

From Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic:

Milwaukee’s frustrations spilled into the postgame locker room, where teammates Gary Neal and Larry Sanders got into a shouting match with media present. At one point, Neal yelled, “I earn my money. Why don’t you try it?”

Confrontations like this almost never take place while the media is there watching, that’s what makes this particular tiff so noteworthy. Players may have disagreements at times, but usually it stays behind closed doors and is reported on second-hand.

To have this happen publicly shows how toxic things have become around Sanders and his large contract, at least where his teammates are concerned.

I'd honestly like to see the Bucks fire Drew and bring in a better coach.... because he really seems to be in over his head.

There are some decent pieces there.... but the rotations are just all over the place.

More like 3 good months... Sanders only put up good numbers after January.

If Sanders was on a team that wasn't in shambles he would still be putting up double doubles with blocks and great defence. I believe the Bucks lead the league in the amount of different starting lineups they've used this year, and there's no cohesion or role definition on their team, as different guys get big minutes every night. I think we learned how important that is this season with our team, and Milwaukee is the worst with it this year, and its no coincidence they're in last.

We're 2/5 through the season and they still have no idea who they're starting at the 2-5, let alone giving minutes to off of the bench.

Yes, Sanders had a bad game(he had a few great games before that game since coming back from injury), and made a stupid mistake with the bar fight, but I dont think hes the type of player who just rolls over after getting his money. If the Bucks, in a very Bucksesque move, sell low on him, and he goes to a new team, I have no doubt he'll flourish, and dont think for a second that teams wont be lining up for his services. He's a game changer defensively, there's not too many of those in the NBA.

Coincidentally, when they gave him consistent minutes, and he flourished. Before that, his minutes were all over the place, and he was replaced in the starting lineup multiple times. When he actually played over 25 minutes as a starter, he was one of the best centers in the NBA last year.

The Bucks have no cohesion and any idea what the hell they're doing with their team as currently constructed, and that's why they suck so much. As TOR said, they have a lot of rotation players, and Ilyasova/Henson/Sanders are more than capable starters, and yet they're by far the worst team in the NBA. The fact that Drew still has a job at this point is terrible.

He's actually played pretty good. I bet he still tries to look cool though.

Well I suppose it depends of what your definition of "good" is. Sure his FG% has improved, buy his 3PT% is in the toilet. It's worse than when he was here. Plus he's still turning the ball over like crazy.
