I really hate Griffin, every single play he screams for a foul that was never there.

We had a rash of Blazer fans complaining when Portland signed Batum to a big contract.

those Blazer fans have been completely muffled this season.

watch that Houston game, It left me kind of pissed, James Harden get so many calls you would think he is kobe or Michael Jordan

Harden intentionally pops his head back and gets a call, he did that himself, this guy is the all time flop king, he flopped at least 10 to 15 times today in one game, its a joke
a guy like Carmelo who gets banged, mugged cant' get a call but harden gets breathed on and he gets a call

demar derozan gets fouled all the time but never gets the call

I just don't know why this isn't a bigger story, the guys on tnt didn't even talk about the flopping that harden does, the beat the grizz because of that

the sad part about it is he doesn't need to do this he is good enough to go without help from the refs, he at least got 5 or 6 calls today that were earned, but getting 22 free thows made is a joke

going 2-9 and having 27 points says more about how unfair the refs were than james harden being a great player because he isn't that good

nba really needs to fix this

david silver needs to fix this issue, the refs, the lottery, tanking, a team in seattle and Vancouver are things I would like to see fixed in the david silver era

"It was the refs tonight. Eight against five. The game in the second half, a man was shooting free throws every time. We were out there playing hard, and they were dictating the game. It can't be like that. We are out there playing, too"

OKC (Mainly Durant) Get more than anyone. Durant you can pretty much gaurentee getting 20ish a game no matter what, at least any game of theirs I've watched.

Too bad ankle breakers aren't worth any points. Because then the Cavs might actually be able to win more games.

Well, there goes my fantasy team. Just traded John Wall too.

Quote:
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook underwent his third surgery of the calendar year on Friday, an arthroscopic procedure that will leave him out until after the All-Star break two months from now. The blow comes on the heels of Westbrook’s meniscus tear from the first round of the playoffs last April, and the subsequent clean up surgery he underwent in October. Westbrook returned surprisingly early to the Thunder just three games into the season, and after some initial struggles the explosive guard began to play excellent, All-NBA level ball for Oklahoma City.

As it stands now, though, the team will be without their star until well after the season’s mid-point. From a press release the team sent out on Friday:

Russell has been playing pain free, but recently had experienced increased swelling. After consultation and consideration by his surgeon in Los Angeles, a plan was established to monitor the swelling that included a series of scheduled MRIs,” said Presti. “On the most recent MRI it was determined by the surgeon that there was an area of concern that had not previously existed, nor was detectable in the previous procedures, and it was necessary to evaluate Russell further. The consulting physician determined that arthroscopic surgery was necessary to address the swelling that was taking place. We know that Russell’s work ethic and commitment will help him return to the level of play that we have all come to appreciate.”

Westbrook is expected to return post All-Star break.
Quote:
Scarily, meniscus tears are oftentimes more frightening than ACL tears, in spite of the relatively short recovery time. While an ACL tear may keep a player out for up to a year, and a meniscus tear results in half as long to return from, a compromised repaired meniscus can often lead to perpetual swelling and knee pain, sometimes resulting a career-altering microfracture surgery. While an ACL tear can often result in a cut and dry return to action after an extended period of time, meniscus tears can lead to operation after operation as the player in question experiences continuing discomfort – as we’ve seen with Westbrook’s two post-tear surgeries.

We must be in sync.....I had posted this. Regardless, I have to agree, I have 2 fantasy teams that are going to be hurting for awhile.

I'm sure OKC is far enough ahead now to handle the loss of RW till the ASG, but still, tough break.

My one fantasy teams sucks, but my other one is half decent....or it was at least. Now i wish i had kept Wall, but i needed help up front.

I have a feeling this is going to be a recurring thing with westbrook. Knee's never seem to heal, and trust me I have plenty of personal experience, although my injury is FAR worse.

I've said that numerous times here. Once a player has knee issues in the NBA or any sport for that matter they're never the same.

This ^. If Westbrook keeps going at this rate with knee injuries then he will become the next player that could of had a promising career, only to have it derailed because of injuries.

Beal down and in pain. What a horrible rash of injuries in this league if this is serious.

He had to be carried off the court after twisting his knee.
