Yup, I saw a comment from Woodson a few days ago saying something along the lines of "I'm not going to talk bad about another team, but there's a reason we got Bargnani". Reads to me that he basically thinks we misused him. Good luck.

Rose with 22 points in 22 minutes tonight. Loving it.

Looks like OKC drafted a decent center with the Raps pick. Steven Adams had 10 points and 15 rebounds in the NO/OKC game.

They were really hyping him over the pre draft workouts.

Played 33 minutes too. Looks like he could take the starting job from Perkins.

Yeah, I know its preseason and all, but if Brooks starts Perkins over Adams he's just proven once again how bad of a coach he is. Adams literally does everything better than Perkins already. If you compare the two in the same role, Adams comes out on top in every scenario(well, except post defence, so Perkins can start against Houston):

Rebounding? Adams
Passing? Adams
Guarding the screen roll? Adams
Keeping the ball high so you dont get stripped every damn play like Perkins? Adams
Finishing inside? This isnt even close.
Being an option on offence for drop off passes where he'll actually come out with free throws or a basket? Again, not close.

I know it's only been a few preseason games, but it's pretty clear in watching Adams play that he's way ahead of Perkins at this point.

Then again, 95% of this board is ahead of Perkins at this point in his career.

I think one of the things I'm most looking forward to is how the NY media and fans react after just a few games when they realize how much of a turd Bargnani is. Knicks fans especially are going to lose their shit after Bargnani continues to play soft and let everyone get by him for easy scores, and on the other end brick easy shots and try to compensate by doing too much when he's not hitting open jumpers. Its going to be glorious. I'd say he's out of the starting lineup by game 20, 10 games too late.

Call me crazy, but he actually looks quicker and more athletic than before his injury. Miami look out, with not only Rose back, but Butler and Gibson playing major roles this season.

Agree with you on Rose looking more athletic BDL, I read that he actually gained 5 inches to his vertical

I dont think theres a more exciting player in the league to watch than DRose. Even though his quickness and explosiveness are off the charts, I think his body control is what makes him truly elite.

Yep - he's got that watchability factor that Jordan and Julius had. There's a level of beauty to it.

Dallas @ Houston right now. Curious to see Jose play and how they look with Ellis.

It's a replay. Ellis went 3-13

JC had 3 assists in 26min

Ellis and Jose never really struck me as a good fit in the halfcourt, unless Jose gives up the ball handling duties often and is the spot up shooter a higher percentage of the time, because Montas incapable of playing that role for any amount of time. And obviously only one of them will actually run on the fast break.

Both can be devastating on screen roll with Dirk, but both will be held back offensively by one another.

There's no point in talking about the other side of the ball since they're destined to be one of the worst defensive backcourts ever.

I watched the first half, and the only guy who looked good for Dallas was Carter.

Dirk moves OK in the half-court because he has great foot-work, but he's unable to sprint in transition. His body looks broken. Dallas needs to trade him to a contender where he can come off the bench.
