So far with the way he's played and looked, he doesn't deserve #2, he explodes for about 3 plays a game, and coasts the rest. The guy is supposed to be best in college right now, but he refuses to play like it.

I'm not saying he won't be good, and won't start playing up to his potential, but so far he hasn't even come close.

Lebron finally had a bad game he only shot 41% which is the lowest for the season for him. Still better then Rudy's 38% season average.

It's amazing when that's what you call a bad game from a player haha. Still better than Rudy on his best days.

Good job by Drummond turning it around, he's an exception to the rule...

Sigh... It almost seems like I'm defending the Ross pick, which I'm certainly not. I'm just curious if MU will be better than BC...
Drummond was what? 17 when he was being scouted for the draft? I would think most 17-yr olds are pretty immature.... but you can't teach 7ft and near 300lbs (with athleticism). A JV/Drummond frontcourt could have dominated the league for years... and given us a HUGE trade chip too.

It was a poor decision.... made to look worse because Ross can't even do the one thing that people thought he could do... SHOOT.

That could very well change, but so far, he would not be my #1 or #2 pick to this point.
I want Wiggins to succeed but he reminds me a bit of Marvin Williams when he was at UNC.... and that's not a good thing.

Athleticism and size will get you far in HS and college but once you're in the NBA you'd better have some legit skills to back your game up... esp. if you're at a wing position (unless he's going to be a defensive specialist).

I still think he'll be very good, he's just not playing anywhere near his potential, and he gets lazy in games. He also REALLY needs to work on his jumper because it's gross.

Speaking of CHA... I wonder what the chances are of them taking Rudy Gay from us for expirings (Sessions & Gordon)?

Houston should come hard after Gay.... if they could turn him into a lockdown defender and non-shooter, he'd be a great fit!

As for Asik, he'd be a welcome fit here for his effort levels.... and as long as we tear the rest down, he'd be a good trade chip or decent big going forward.

they have a fellow named Chandler Parsons and I don't think they want Gay at the 4.

why not at the four? They're playing guys like Casspi and Garcia there along with Jones. Gay could be a good add if they actually have title aspirations.
