He had a another big game tonight, has made stellar improvements with his averages this season. The Raptors could really use a big like that, even with Valanciunas here.

Drummond 24 points,19 Rebounds, 8/14 from the line(good for a below 40% ft shooter),2 steals(that's his average per game) and 3 blocks.
Cleveland should have taken him @ #4 instead of waiters. wouldn't have needed to go after bynum.

TT/Drummond front court is impressive imo

Good point, playing alongside future Raptor Greg Monroe helps too. Cleveland would be interesting with Drummond instead of Waiters,in that scenario its possible Barnes could've landed to the Raps at 8th

I die a little each time I look at the boxscore of a DET game these days....

Drummond is everything I thought he could be and more. Might be the best C in the game by season's end.

And we passed on him.

Oh ffs, let it go already. Stop torturing yourself, the culprit is gone and Ross shouldn't be burdened with BC's mistakes. Move on already.

I think its fair to highlight this kinda mistake, especially seeing how it relates to the popular stategy of "tanking" in a sense. If Raptors keep on making incorrect judgment on draft picks they won't ever get ahead. Can't gamble on players who "you hope can fulfil needs" based on their position, gotta go with best player available. Maybe they thought Ross was but so far they were terribly wrong.

It was okay the first time, now it get's tiring. Yes it hurts reading it over and over again, but there's no use in repeating, it won't change anything. The only thing you can hope for is MU goes with the bpa. In the meantime, stop being freaking Captain Hindsight all the time.

Talking about going with the BPA, Ujiri could've drafted Chandler Parsons instead of Kenneth Faried and Jared Sullinger, Tony Wroten, Miles Plumlee and, well, a dozen of other players instead of Evan Fournier.

That either makes MU bad at his job, or drafting in general a lot harder than some here claim it to be. Like I said, it's easy playing Captain Hindsight.

You don't need to be a fucking genius to have taken Drummond over Terrence Ross for the 8th pick.

Apparently there were questions about Drummonds work ethic in college. If I was Ujiri and I was starting a rebuild I would pass on players with work ethic problems, because 9 times out of 10 those players turn out to be busts. Imagine making Eddy Curry the new face of the franchise.

Good job by Drummond turning it around, he's an exception to the rule...

Sigh... It almost seems like I'm defending the Ross pick, which I'm certainly not. I'm just curious if MU will be better than BC...

I think that's the biggest reason why the Blazers are soooo much better. Because they're sick of losing. They have to win or they feel like poo again.
