Felton, Shumpert, Melo, Kmart, Bargs. For the love God, Woodson, we can actually win this game. How are you going to trot out that piece of **** lineup.

I hate you Jeff Honacek, wish they'd have let Thunder Dan coach that team.

So Knicks have sucked balls. Who's to blame for their terrible start to the season?

Dolan. He took away the one player who actually made the Knicks look like a team... Lin.

Doesn't help that Chandler has been hurt though and Felton and Smith have been non-existent.

My friend says it's Melo's fault. I don't like Melo as I've said before, but he's one of last guys blame for the start imo.

I strongly dislike Melo and I don't even blame him, and I'd be the first to. The guy has been busting his ass to try and win a damn game, and its just not happening. It's Melo Vs the NBA at this point.

I will agree that Melo has been trying.... but it's HOW he's been trying that gets me. Putting up "mo shats" and trying to score 50 every game isn't what the Knicks need.... They need OTHER guys to gain confidence and contribute. That doesn't happen when Melo's running his isos all game long.

It's odd now to think that Lebron and Melo came into the NBA as similar types of players.... now they couldn't be more different. And to me it has nothing to do with their physical gifts... it's all between the ears.

I hate Melo as much as the next hater, but he really has been busting his ass on both sides of the ball this year. If he wasnt playing as hard as he is they may have the worst record in the league, and been losing most games by 20+. Their team blows, and their offensive philosophy completely changed 1 year to the next. They went from being one of the best 3 point shooting teams to one of the worst. It's really weird how that transitioned seeing as they brought most of the same players back and added 3 point threats in Bargs and MWP.

I see what you're saying but let's be real. That's how Melo has always played. Whenever he's had good talent, he's had decent teams (underachieved but still decent). At this point, we know who Melo is. He's not gonna change. He's not a LeBron. So I'm not sure why we should expect him to be.

I just think he's been the one constant from last year and I see him busting his ass on both ends of the floor. The others are not carrying their weight, on offence and on defence. That's why I have to strongly disagree if one is to put the blame on Anthony. It's not like Melo is playing subpar for Melo standards.

And there's just so many factors being disregarding when someone is blaming Melo for the start. Chandler being injured, Felton missing a couple games and playing like garbage when he does play, Smith missing 5 games due to suspension and playing like garbage when he came back, and there's Bargnani (enough said). Shumpert has been terrible as well. Too many variables from last year. But like I said, the one constant has been Melo imo.

Tbh Melo is working pretty hard out there. He is picking up the slack with Chandler out and is averaging 10 rebounds a game. Chandler himself was only averaging 9 boards before he was out.

Durant looking quite a bit like Rudy tonight. So, maybe Rudy can eventually approximate Durant?
