Don't agree that Kid should be in the Conversation for coach of the year. Also Brooklyn didn't draft Teletovic, they signed him

The Hawks are in the lead for 8th and have the most favourable schedule, so I'm inclined to say that they hold on. But, the Hawks also have the most incentive to make some questionable playing time decisions and lose games and miss the playoffs. If they end up in the lotto, the Hawks get to keep their pick. And they could use another young piece to go with Horford and Teague.

The Knicks and Pistons are in a different situation. They have the most incentive to go all out and try to get into the playoffs, even though their schedules are the hardest. Denver owns the Knick's pick, and the Pistons pick goes to Charlotte if it falls outside the protected zone (I think top 8). The Pistons will need luck to fall in the top 8 and keep their pick.

So, basically, I think it's Atlanta's spot to lose. If they want it, they get it. If they don't want it, then....ah, fuck it, I don't know.

If the Knicks miss the playoffs, Masai should win executive of the year for helping both Toronto and Denver. The Nuggets are getting that pick from the Carmelo deal.

Masai, the gift that keeps on giving.

Bulls could have missed all their crunchtime free throws, and McLemore still would've bricked all his jumpers and kept stepping out of bounds.

If that call really did come from the coach and it looked like it did that coach should be fired immediately and what pissed me off even more is that it was a Chicago game

aaaaaaaaaaaaand the Pacers came back and won. Indiana was on the second night of a back-to-back so maybe they were a bit sluggish to start.

Anyway, from my perspective, this type of loss eliminates Detroit from the playoff race, unless Atlanta completely implodes. The Pistons really needed to steal this game with the type of schedule that they have left.
