The last 2 possessions show how awful we'd be this season without KL.

I'm actually shocked that he chose the Thunder over the Heat as Butler and Wade are good friends and apparently everyone loves Butler in the Heat organization. Either way, I'm just happy Miami did not get him.

Y! SPORTS Danny Granger to sign with Clippers by: Adrian Wojnarowski

Looks like Granger will be signing with the Clippers now. I can't believe San Antonio lost out on him

Good pickup by OKC. Butler adds a scoring element off the bench and can defend fairly well.

he would have been a better fit in SA IMO. At this point in his career he's worn down and needs a smaller, more clearly defined role. He would definitely get that in SA. Maybe he'll still get it in LA.

Butler is done.

We'll see if Granger has something left in him.

The Clippers sold Granger on the possibility of eventually being a starter at the small forward spot, or at least a player who plays substantial minutes.
Clippers informed that Danny Granger picks them - latimes.com

I agree that Granger would have been a better fit in San Antonio. Seems like LA just offered him more minutes and possibly a starting role, something he wouldn't have gotten in San Antonio.

I'm looking forward to the Mavs/Bulls game. As good as the Bulls have been playing, the Mavs execute for 48 minutes as well as any team in the NBA and I think they'll win the game handedly.

I'm sure he wanted consistent minutes though. And it's clear he would get that in OKC, considering Lamb is their only wing player off the bench. In MIA they have guys like Battier/Allen/Lewis/Beasley along side LeBron/Wade so nothing was guaranteed there for him. I think he'll have a more clear role in OKC and should bolster that bench a little bit.

Don't be. I have league pass and I've watched over a dozen Pacers games this year. He's done imo. He has trouble finishing and shooting open jumpers (doesn't have his legs under him). Playing with that team with Paul should help, but I don't think he will contribute much, if at all, this season.

Actually, it's quite the opposite. Granger has looked done the entire year (see his shot chart below) and Butler has at least had big games. He's had multiple 20+ and 30+ point games, games with 3+ threes. He's been banged up but he can still contribute more than Granger no doubt. Obviously Granger's role is limited but he's had no game with more than 5 FG this season.

Granger:

Butler's shot chart (not great, but certainly better):

Also, for the people who have watched Jared Dudley and seen him struggle this year, read this tweet to put Granger's struggles in perspective:

Clipper fans: Did you know Dudley has higher shooting percentages from three (+3.1%), in midrange (+18.1%) at rim (+15.1%) than Granger?

Holy shit, Granger has played horribly. I understand he was injured a nice chunk of this season and last season, but after seeing these stats maybe its better he didn't end up in San Antonio after all.

I'm also very happy Butler went to OKC. Hope he contributes a bit

Dragic career high 40 pts and Davis ties his career high of 32 pts.

Suns are going to brutalize the Raps.

Jimmer Fredette set to sign with Chicago Bulls

Quote:
Former Sacramento Kings guard Jimmer Fredette has told the Chicago Bulls he will sign with them if he clears waivers, according to a person with knowledge of the situation. Because Fredette was waived before March 1, he will be eligible to be on the Bulls' playoff roster. The third year guard has a career average of seven points and 1.5 assists. For the Kings this season, he was averaging 5.9 points in 11 minutes. He was shooting 48 percent from the floor and 49 percent from three point range.
Looks like Jimmer will be signing with the Bulls.
