They should have made those 2 games a double header instead of having them be at the same time. 2 of the best games of the year played simultaneously, and having to switch back and forth between them. Absolutely sick games.

Also, Blake Griffin is the best big man in the NBA right now, and its not close.

Luol Deng went 0-9, but Cleveland still beat the Pistons anyway.

I agree - the Clippers have what it takes this year to win the title.

Who is going to drop out of the West? I think the Grizz are going to find a way into the playoffs because they play defense. I could see GS ending up in 9th.

GSW is too good to drop out of the playoff picture. They're under performing right now, and I expect them to make a move at the deadline. For whatever reason, they've gone away from their crisp ball movement in the halfcourt, and allowing Iggy to handle the ball more like they did early in the year, and it's caused some stagnation with their offence. But they really need to upgrade their bench with a reliable big man, and Barnes needs to step it up in the 2nd half. Their offensive philosophy needs to change though, they need to go back to using everyone in their offence and moving the ball instead of only using Steph, or posting up Lee/Thompson.

Grizzlies will make the playoffs over PHX or DAL if Gasol and Conley stay healthy, and if they can make a move to where Prince is no longer starting for them at SF. That ship sailed a long time ago and he's really holding them back. He'd be lucky to get any minutes on any contending team at this point in his career.

The Clippers are still a reliable SF and a backup big man away from being a true title contender, despite Blake and DeAndres breakout years. They need to find both without trading Crawford, which is going to be a tough task. I'm not really sure where theyd be able to find a quality SF at this point, but backup bigs they should be targeting include: Bass, Humphries, Okafor, J Hill, G Davis. Out of those players, I think Glen Davis and Jordan Hill would be the best fits.

Harden is without a doubt the worst defensive player in the NBA. It's criminal that he is allowed to play through these types of defensive efforts without consequence, and it's going to cost them in the playoffs. It's not even a question of him being a low IQ defensive player, he just doesn't try. At all. Almost all of Arizas 3's were because Harden didn't make the effort to close out on him either in transition or off of pick and roll plays. He may be the hardest franchise player to watch in the NBA because of his style of play offensively and his atrocious effort defensively.

Chicago looks great right now. They have a crazy tough schedule coming up after the break. It'll be interesting to see how far they can go.

That Houston game was messed up. Harden flopped on Ariza when they couldn't inbound the ball down 2 with about 7 seconds or something. So he got one free throw and Houston had possession again. Then he hit a game winning lay up

I wonder what it would take to get Chris Kaman? Big body... legit post game... good rebounder and passer. A bit weak defensively but I think he'd bring a lot more to the table than Psycho T at this point.

Guy has been BALLING these past few games. And against solid opposition/defenses too.

Mutombo would get fined for waving his finger in the air, let alone jabbing his finger into someone else's face. I'd give him a 1 game suspension and a healthy fine, but the league needs to take it easy on the Nets. They exceeded the salary cap, and expect to benefit through the course of lackluster fines and suspensions.

Larry Sanders underwent successful surgery on Thursday to repair right orbital bone fractures which he sustained in the Feb. 8 game against the Houston Rockets.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Gerald J. Harris at the Eye Institute of the Medical College of Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital. Sanders will be sidelined for a minimum of six week.

In 23 games (20 starts) this season, Sanders has averaged 7.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots in 25.4 minutes per contest.

Different subject, but same team: Did anyone notice the NBA re-edited the NBA Tix commercial, and had Rudy Gay being the postman in a Sacramento jersey?
