I love watching Kobe this season.

Perfect example of how NOT to lead a team and care only about your own stats.

If Golden State meets the Clippers in the first round, it could be an interesting matchup. No way L.A. wants that, but the Warriors would love it. I think it could happen as 3 vs 6 seeds. It wouldn't take much movement in the current seedings.

Why would you think that? We're on a 6 game losing skid and just lost a home game to the Wizards. I'm just peachy right now.

It was actually a good game. Lotsa good basketball. The anger won't show up until tomorrow. I tend to put a hurtin' on the morning blogs.

I'm confident they will make it. They have two things going for them:
1-they are respectable on the road
2-they can hold their own against western conference opponents

On a note related to LX's post on the previous page, I don't think Houston will be there at the end of the season. So far, the Rockets have played poorly on the road and against western conference opponents. The main reason the Rockets managed to get their record well above .500 was because they had played a disproportionate number of games at home and they beat up on eastern conference opponents. Now that their schedule is balancing out, they are falling back down to .500 And now that 27 of their remaining 39 games are against western conference opponents, chances are they finish below .500.

Personally, I would bet that this is the first year in a while where the 8th seed in the west only has 41-43 wins. Usually the 8th seed in the West is well above .500 but I think this year will be different, because of injuries to important players on teams that otherwise would have been fighting hard for the 8th.

Durant is a majestic and criminal combo of size, athleticism and skill. Not fair.

For a long range shooter, Durant is shooting a insanely high percentage. 5-6 from downtown.

Its too bad the refs still fall for the flailing and falling with minimal contact for fouls, especially for guys like KD, Harden, and Kmart. This is an embarrassment to the game.

How bout Kyrie last night single handedly leading the Cavs over Boston? He tore Bradley and Rondo a new one. Get this man in the allstar game!

I've been disappointed with the implementation of the flopping rules. OKC has a flop coach. You can tell they practice it, and they're good at it.
