I was looking at Kobe's yahoo fantasy page and this is what the notes said:

Quote:
"Bryant's Lakers improved to 2-11 when he scores at least 30, although he made just 9 of 29 shots to reach that figure. The 2-11 record is especially good news if you are a Lakers hater and Bryant owner since you can root for him to put up points and take guilt-free delight in LA's implosion at the same time."

Lin returns to MSG tonight. It will be interesting what the ratio of boos/cheers is, and how much harder him and Felton play against eachother.

SAS@OKC is the real matchup tonight though. Should be a great game between 2 of the best in the West. Sucks that Ginobili is out.

And hopefully the TWolves can unleash Rubio for more than 20 minutes tonight. I'll definitely be tuning in for that.

It would, was watching Game Time last night and they said that Felton tweeted that the fans should cheer for Lin rather than boo for him. Afterall it was NY which didnt match Houstons offer

I'm expecting a shitstorm of boos. I'm willing to bet good money on it. This is NY.

If HOU is smart they'll actually let Lin play a little more rather than being his usual passive self. They're going to need more firepower than just Harden to stay with the Knicks in this one. Should be interesting to see if Kidd can stay with Harden on D.

Houston isnt going to win unless they have a little chat with Harden.
everyone is all over his jock because he's scoring so much and is the 'next big thing', but he's really just a one-on-one player. he is always working to create something for himself and it leaves his teammates just standing around watching.
i havent checked but i'm willing to guess theres a 5-10 minus point differential for his PPG between wins and losses. when he scores, Rockets win, when he doesnt score, they lose.
sure thats usually how it goes for a teams star player, but that sort of thing never works, and it leaves his teamates just twiddling their thumbs fighting over scraps. The thing with Houston is that they have a very talented group - Lin, Parsons, Patterson, Asik... but Harden is tryng to carry them and do to much one-on-one without trusting his teamates to contribute.
they could be very dangerous, Harden needs to do his thing but include his teamates as well.

Even a ricky-less timberwolves team is my favorite to watch. Shved and Pekovic are such awesome players. Luke Ridnour, Kevin Love and Kirilenko too. Wish Derrick Williams kept improving. I think he can be a decent player in this league. Needs consistency.

I was wrong. Fuck. It's just that the hate this guy got from NY after Houston signed him was ridiculous. I guess the winning and awsomeness Felton and Kidd brought for cheap made it easier to see him walk.

Lin playing well so far. Good to see the FGAs more evenly spread between him & Harden.

Lin finishes with 22/4/8 + 2 stls.

He & Harden were dominant. They need to play like that more often.

Lin played with some emotion tonight. He wasn't a zombie.

If he plays with some ego - he'll be worth his money. He needs to match Harden's ego - that's the key to his success. He looked really happy winning in NY, it was nice to see.
