DeAndre Jordan will forever suck. No offensive game. Defense sucks too, but he can improve there.

Sucks is a bit strong. His offensive game right below Tyson Chandler's right now... both live off of lobs, dump ins and putbacks.

Good weakside defender too... just has to improve on the ball.

His offensive game is below everyone's. There's no way "sucks" is a strong word to describe his game if we're talking about today. His defence is terrible because he jumps at everything and causes the entire Clippers defence to scramble because of it. And as a result, he's out of position and the team's defensive rebounding suffers. Guys like Reggie Evans played over him in crunch time because he's so bad.

I think in the future he can become more serviceable, but as of right now, he's pretty garbage. I remember I saw this stat saying he was the only player to attempt 500 FGA and not have one shot made outside the paint (I'm drunk so that might not be entirely correct, but it's not too far off). That's just pathetic.

*shrug*

Look at what people said about McGee... absolute moron... would never amount to anything... and the guy almost singlehandedly won the series for his team against the Lakers.

Both of these guys are still young.... they just need solid coaching. McGee is getting it now with Karl. Jordan.... I feel bad for lol.

Speaking of Cs.... I AM really psyched to see if McGee is going to pick up where he left off for DEN after that stellar playoff run.
I'm not big into advanced stats, but I'd definitely argue against that. I dont think theres any chance in hell most of the Clippes most effective defensive lineups had DJ in them. I'd say Kenyon Martin was the most effective defensive presence next to Blake last year in most lineups, with Evans coming in 2nd. But again, there is room for improvement there, he just needs more experience and someone to explain to him what he's doing wrong. I doubt VDN is the guy.

Itll be interesting to see if Mcgee starts in their 1st regular season game. If he has matured he should be a 30 mpg player over the likes of Koufos and Mozgov. Hes the only guy on that team that can really push their team past being a 1 and done playoff team every year.

Also, DeAndre finally hit 2 shots total out of the paint last season(I actually saw a youtube clip of it today, heh). I dont think that really matters in the overall impact of his game though. He needs to becomea 65+% FT shooter to be more effecive on offence, not a jumpshooter. It looks like Asik has the right idea so far this preseason, averaging 67% from the line, so why cant DeAndre?

Brooklyn looks really good as a team as well. Lopez looks like he figured out how to rebound again, and their starting unit moves the ball really well. Blatche has been playing really well off the bench too.

Jury is out on Drummond and Kanter. Lillard should be a good player, most here wanted him. And Harden is a no brainer.
