Didnt watch the entire game, but I watch a quarter of the Blazers and Suns game and lets just say it was horrendous to watch. 1 player who really caught my eye was Wesley Johnson seems lost out there and shot 2 airballs.

The Blazers want to be a 3 point shooting team, but we don't have good 3 point shooters. Phoenix ran double teams at LaMarcus, and the Blazers looked like fish out of water. If the Blazers can't work through opponents ganging up on Aldridge, we're seriously screwed.

Sacre looks good. All these nice looking Canadians and BC is to busy scouting Europe to get his hand on one.

Game one of the WNBA finals on TV right now. Quality basketball. Lin Dunn has the FEVER absolutely tearing it up.

I confess.. I haven't watched a WBNA game since Coop hung 'em up and retired after 4-peating with the Comets.

Is Taurasi still the best player in the league?

There are so many good players now - I don't know who any of them are. Tamika Catching is playing like LeBron - and some girl named Augustus just made one of the most ridiculous around the back dribbles in transition - about as good as you'll see in the nba.

As I type this a ridiclous around the back - back-door pass.

The quality of basketball in the WNBA has become really really good. It used to be a few stars on each team and the rest of them had a hard time making open layups. Those days are definitely over.

She's still around?? Dang... I remember seeing a bit of a Fever game from a few years back and she definitely seemed to have some skills. Yolanda Griffith used to impress me back in the day too (I'm sure she's retired now though).

What ever happened to Chamique Holdsclaw? Jeez... I remember all the hype about her being "good enough to play in the NBA". From what I remember she wasn't even the best player in the WNBA. lulz.

Lets try and keep the WNBA talk to a minimum, and go back to talking about how Sacre hit the jackpot with the Lakers haha. WNBA talk? Comeon now lol.

Damn.... forgot how good an offseason the Clips had.....

Odom, Barnes, Crawford, Hill, Hollins, Green... to add to Billups coming back... they've got some serious depth there!

Well their depth is dependant on a lot of things. It looks good on paper, but Crawford has to play more of a game within the system and not go 1 on 1 so much, he needs to be more of a catch and shoot player, so that'll be a big change for him. Odom needs to regain something close to his Laker form and hes come in to camp overweight. Hill I think can fit in any system, but his only questionmark is his health. Billups the same. Will Barnes accept being a 3rd stringer for the first part of the year? And I cant believe you mentioned Ryan Hollins. Shame on you. Rony Turiaf!

The Clippers biggest questionmark though is Blake Griffin, because if even half of those guys mentioned that they picked up play well, their fate will still be in the hands of Blake and how much he has improved his defence, and shooting. If he takes his game to another level, they have enough talent to go to the Finals even if 50% or more of their offseason pickups fail.

Heh. Hollins is long and he has 6 fouls to give. He's a guy that you can put out there for 10 min/gm to provide some energy.

I think that Jordan is going to have to improve as much (or more) as Griffin though if the Clips are going to threaten the top WC teams this season. I still think that he's only scratched the surface of what he can ultimately be.

I dont necessarily agree with DeAndre needing to get that much better, because if Odom comes back to form, then Odom is going to play the majority of minutes when it matters anyway with Griffin. Though itd be nice if DeAndre improved his court sense and defensive game, I dont really expect it.

Ehhhhhhh.... I dunno about that... I could see the Clips going small in certain situations but I'd argue that they're at their best defensively when Jordan is on the floor.

Speaking of Cs.... I AM really psyched to see if McGee is going to pick up where he left off for DEN after that stellar playoff run.
