Harden with a career high 45 pts, Lin with 21/10/7...the Hawks looked really dysfunctional at the end of the game. If Josh Smith gets traded before the deadline, how is this team a playoff team?

Depends what they get for him, but if they trade him it should be for a couple young pieces, a large expiring and a pick. Time to blow shit up.

Miami fails to score more than 21 points in 3 out of 4 quarters.

What's going on? Charlotte and Orlando won, LA hasn't won yet and James Harden is going bonkers. Is this a sign the world is going to end?

NYK- 36 3PT's attempted

This team is a joke. It's all fine and good when they're hitting shots as a team but wow!

Well Harden would have still been in OKC if he took the contract that was offered to him, except he wanted max money and OKC couldnt afford that and keep their entire core. However for the past few drafts we have seen bigs who have been like Ibaka. It used to be easy to find guards than defense bigs who were 7ft

He's pissed and is out to prove a point. He'll come back down to earth. He's still a great player though.

re: the offer

OKC wouldn't give him a trade kicker. That's reportedly what really forced the trade, not so much the money. The money (difference between $54 and 60$) was mostly peanuts. The fact that OKC wouldn't give the trade kicker is pretty telling. Any agent would have had reason to be concerned. Taking a discount to play wiht Durant is one thing, but taking a discount that helps your team flip you in a trade for a better package due to your efficient salary, is another thing.

Harden with 45

15-19 FG
15-17 FT's

That's some extremely efficient scoring right there.
