On another note..... both Lin & Harden silencing the haters tonight. Nice lines for both of them.

L.A. has no athleticism what so ever in there back court to defend PG's like Lillard.

Nash, Blake, Duhon are fairly slow.

Over under on number of games the Lakers have to lose (before the all-star break) before Phil Jackson gets the call?

Lakers will figure it out. Encouraging thing for them is Howard's scoring game looks REALLY good so far. He's quietly become one of the best ballhandling centers in the league, which with the array of finishes/hook shots/etc. he has makes him devastating down low

Harden-Lin pairing is going to be sooooo good. They both have a combination of IQ and penetration ability that's deadly. Rockets OWNED this offseason getting Lin, Harden and Asik, like HOLY CRAP. They got a potential championship backcourt and a defensive anchor C. It took a while but Morey finally paid off for them

It'd piss me off as a Rockets fan to see McHale D'Antoni their rookies though, 0 minutes combined tonight. Machado might have the best chance of breaking the rotation funnily enough just because Toney Douglas is easily one of the worst players in the league. He's their highest upside rookie anyways though. Machadosanity starts within 2 weeks, just watch. He averaged 14 assists per 36 minutes in preseason and they were Rubio Rondo assists not Calderon Brevin Knight ones. He has a basketball savant ability to see the court and where everyone is at all times

The Lakers just need time. I mean they've only had like five weeks. How can so many unbelievable great players figure out how to not fail miserably in only five weeks? Give them some more time and they'll be at least mediocre. It's not like they don't have time. I mean Dwight is still pretty young at least right? I know he looks like he has the back of a war vet, from WWII, but if they keep up with the injections straight into his spine he'll show all of us what a beast can do.

Attaboy. Positive thinking for a positive thread.

Nash injured after 15 minutes in the first game? Pft - that just means more time for Steve Blake to shine.
