That should have been Heat ball on that Battier block.

Contrary to popular belief they don't ALWAYS get every call.

Probably, but they certainly get MOST calls. Against 25 other teams in the NBA they get that call.

They're more than good enough to beat 25 other NBA teams without any calls at all. They've proved that during this streak.

Gutty performance by the C's though. Ton of heart.

Glad MIA beat BOS. Would rather see that streak end vs SAS.

Which reminds me...It seems that SAS thinks Tony be back sooner than expected. And therefore in time for the game vs MIA. He's been out for just over 2 weeks out of his 4 week sideline timetable.

Quote:
Danny Green joined the chorus of Spurs who believe that Tony Parker (ankle) will return prior to his four-week timetable.

Quote:
Green said that Parker, who has resumed treadmill work and light shooting, looks "pretty healthy." Manu Ginobili and Gregg Popovich have also said that Parker will beat his original timetable, but he hasn't resumed on-court contact and we aren't classifying his return as 'imminent'. He has been out a bit over two weeks. - Mar 17 - 11:20 AM

I'm interested to see what everyone thinks of the call at the end of the Bulls game:

Quote:
Section I-A Player Shall Not:
a. Touch the ball or the basket ring when the ball is using the basket ring as its lower base.
EXCEPTION: If a player near his own basket has his hand legally in contact with the ball, it is not a violation if his contact with the ball continues after the ball enters the cylinder, or if, in such action, he touches the basket.
b. Touch the ball when it is above the basket ring and within the imaginary cylinder.
c. For goaltending to occur, the ball, in the judgment of the official, must have a chance to score.
Offensive goaltending, or legit basket?

I think it's an obvious goaltend, and the ball would have either gone in or in and out. It wasn't close to being an airball. It was funny listening to the Bulls broadcast. They didnt even bring up the obvious fact that the ball was going into the cylinder area, and the call was completely wrong. Just terrible announcing.
