They repeatedly went to the hack-a-Howard but he made them pay. He hit 16 of his last 20 free throws. At some point between those last 20 FTs, you have to switch strategies, but instead they elected to give him free points. Nice stat line though. 39 points, 16 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 assists, 1 steal, 0 turnovers, W.

I guess...makes you, and his teammates, wonder what the fuck he was doing the rest of the games.

I HATE when players play leaps and bounds better against old teams or rivals...wtf, you should bring it every night.

Lame.

Howard sucks

Hard to win when you get decimated by injuries.

I'm just not a Rubio fan. I've seen him give up before a few times in Eurogames. On par with Vince's jumper's knee in Toronto. Not an admirable trait. He's always bringing the flashy through the leg bounce passes though.

Give up eh? I'll take your word for it, but from what I've seen in the NBA, hes one of the most compettitive players I've seen since I've started watching the NBA. He takes losing very hard, and he plays extremely hard on BOTH sides of the ball.

Was just going to say this.... I could see him making an all-defensive team in the future as he gains experience.

bjjs... you have to remember too that Rubio was what? 15? 16? when he was over there in the euroleague.
