The truth. Watching Westbrook race down the court and hurl a pull up jumper before any of his teammates have reached half court is a routine that's wearing on me.

And what's with Scott Brooks' tryst with Perk? Does he have compromising photos of Brooks? Brooks should be experimenting with Durant at the 4 - Ibaka at the 5 - more often. But yes, they definitely need a low post horse, too.

I don't understand how that label has stuck with them for so many years.... Are Parker and Manu "boring"? Some of the stuff that they pull off puts them right up there with the other greats of the game. And they do this in addition to playing smart, team ball.

Bosh is a big reason why he is even coaching the game. He's a future HOFer

practice suggests you replace a guard in the starting lineup with another guard. irving would have been a great choice - giving some love to cleveland, good leader, great teammate who would be more than willing to toss up lobs, solid fan support, etc. but instead we get to watch 3 miami players play with a douche and an asshole. beauty.

It is great - this shit is serious. You don't remember Kobe talking smack to Lebron last year? This isn't about what Spoelstra wants this is about what the EC vets want - they want to beat the Kobe - Not make 'Trane and Kyrie Irving happy. The better, more deserving player is in the starting lineup. It's a good thing. It will only piss the West off more as well. All those guys starting for the West are going to see three Heat players and bring their A game.

Irving wouldn't even be allowed to shoot the ball with that starting line-up - don't you guys know how all-star games work? If anything he's more likely to put on a show playing off the bench.

I don't follow - he is playing in the game comign off the bench - he just isn't starting. I was confused by Trane's original post; the conviction in his words led me to believe that Spoelstra picked Bosh over Irving for a roster spot - not a starting spot. I'm assuming it was the same for you.

Spoelstra is all about throwing positional basketball out the window. It will be cool to see that in play with 5 all-stars.

Agreed. Not entirely unusual either for a coach to throw his own player some extra love.

Irving is already on the all-star team in only his 2nd season. I'm sure he'll get his chance to start in the coming years.

i just think it's more fun to watch with a top-level distributor feeding those guys. i want to see them finishing, not setting guys up. i think much of the fan base would feel the same.

I dunno.... I enjoy watching him pass the ball. He has a lot of flair when he does it too.

I think he can do both TBH. Esp. in an up & down ASG.
