Paul George played terribly tonight and essentially cost the Pacers a winnable game at home against the Nets.

Looking at BOS vs CHA boxscore. Byron Mullens, 25, 18, 4 in a win. We gonna see more of this from him?

Beal played well. If they can get some sort of cohesive offense, they can actually be a good team with such a good defense this year.

Apparently since Wall came back, Wizards are the best defensive team in the NBA during that timeframe. Just goes to show how much one player can mean to a team. Wall really is a special player, once they get it together roster wise, they're going to be tough to beat.

Here's a question. Would you do Mullens+filler for Bargs? hmm...

Spurs just crushed Chicago without Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Stephen Jackson.

Bulls had Noah back in the line-up as well.

Spurs improve to 41-12.

A line up of

Nate Robinson
Richard Hamilton
Luol Deng
Carlos Boozer
Joakim Noah

Couldn't stop

Nando De Colo
Danny Green
Kawhi Leonard
Boris Diaw
Tiago Splitter

Pop is a damn genius. Also, if Leonard can perform like how he did offensively tonight the future is in good hands.

Yeah, I remember seeing that wiretap on RealGM. In that timeframe, the Wiz have the best team defensive rating (points given up per 100 possessions). It's a fairly significant sample of games to, since Wall was back for at least 15 games by the time the report was posted.

Wall has been great.... but you also have to look at Nene and Ariza coming back... and Webster and Okafor raising their level of play (they started playing better before Wall came back).

They're completely healthy now and that's certainly helping.

They weren't bad before he came back, either. They're currently sitting 4th in pts per 100 defensive possessions, and 5th in opponent's eFG%.

Their offense, however, is terrible, and this is where they need Wall to step up his game.

If you watched the game, it was quite impressive to see. The Spurs just had better fundamentals: they run the offense as prescribed and knock down the open shots that come of it.

It's just an amazing organization. Quality role players committed to the team game, a coach who can lead men and coach a good game, and 3 hall of famers that help support a winning culture.

I'd do Mullens for Bargnani straight up. Sadly, I think CHA would say no.

I think Mullens has nice upside. Plays decent defense. Has decent passing skills. He's putting in effort in rebounding. However, his shooting percentages stink since he likes to shoot from long range. CHA wants him to develop his inside game. If he can do this then the sky is the limit.

I see no upside in Bargnani at this point.

If you're in fantasy basketball, pick up Mullens if he's available before it's too late. He could be on the verge of breaking out.

We'd have to hope that BC caught MJ in the midst of a rip-roaring drunken bender to have any chance of that happening.

Mullens is a good young player. Another guy like Love and Anderson that can shoot the 3 AND rebound the ball (not bad defensively either).

Mullens has grabbed 10+ rebs 9 times so far.... how many times did Bargs do that last season? 1? 2?

And with him in the lineup the Cats are a much better team. They struggled mightily with him out and since he's been back they were within a hair's breath of beating the Lakers and they BEAT BOS.

I'm perfectly comfortable saying that Mullens > Bargs.

Miami has went into full beast mode late in the 4th Q against Portland. This was a close game, Portland might have even been leading at the time, but since all Miami. Block shots, steals, hitting 3, dunks by LBJ, Wade shots, Allen 3, Bosh jumper, etc. EDIT: Portland was up 1, Miami went on a 14-0 run.

Scary fun to watch. LBJ 6th straight game with 30points + 60% FG%.

Bosh justifying his all-star nod with 32 & 11 against Aldridge.

Damn.. Lillard went nuts in this one. Toby must have enjoyed it.
