I think our highlight of the night was Matthews driving down the middle and getting blocked by Omer Asik, then the ball flew all the way out to Batum who canned the open 3.

check out this little nugget from baby Iverson:

- History-making performance: Damian Lillard added another remarkable accomplishment to his Rookie of the Year resume Friday night. Lillard became the first player in NBA history to record at least 900 points and 100 three-pointers in his first 50 games -

How is Lillard in any way shape or form like Iverson? He's the complete opposite.

I can't compare him to D-Rose, because Bulls fans get mad at me. So Iverson is the next best thing I guess?

Why not compare him to someone he actually plays like though? He doesnt play anything like DRose and AI. I think he plays like Curry but with less handles.

I hate NBA TV sometimes. Its good for watching Raps games as there isnt that much traffic (out side some close finnishes with big teams), but I cant watch the Lakers - Heat game at all because the feed gets stuck all the time.

The Lakers offence is almost as bad as its defence, and I think a lot of their defensive mistakes are caused by their offence. Its known that an isolation offence where one player is controlling the ball for the entire clock and taking most of the shots lowers his teammates energy and enthusiasm, and I think thats whats happened here with Kobe backing down and shooting it every single possession. His Lakers teammates lose focus and energy, and thus dont run back on defence, and dont play as hard overall.

Post up Howard every couple of possessions. Have Nash run screen roll. Its the same stupid ISO play every time down. The Lakers are almost as disgusting to watch, if you dont factor in the fun of watching them get crushed every game, as the Joe Johnson Hawks of the past. Move the damn ball and get some movement in the offence.

Yep - that Laker offense is painful to watch. What a mess.

Meanwhile, I'm falling in love with Lebron. Yeah - I know - I already loved him to the hilt. But it feels like the real thing now. I mean he might be surpassing Larry for me, and I just never thought that would be possible.

Anyone watching Boston vs. Denver. I dont know what happened, but they reviewed an out of bounds play late in second OT. It was clearly out from Jeff Green and they gave it to Celtics? I seriously dont understand what happened with the officials there.
