Maybe losing to this short-handed Celtics squard is nothing to be ashamed of after all.

Just heard KG got 25 000 points. I wish I can bask in KG's greatness, but his (fake) tough guy persona really makes him unlikable.

Denver is a lot of fun to watch. I love how they move the ball.

I'll be interested to see if PP and KG can keep up their level of play the rest of the way into the post season..... still a lot of games to go.

You're out your damn mind. Bradley is a top tier role player, whereas Cousins could be the best bigman in the NBA if put in the right situation. They're not comparable talent and value wise.

Right situation. Cousins is out of his damn mind if he has the chance to be the best big in the league, but needs the right situation to be even a net positive. Bradley is an impact role player that can fill a lot of different roles. You have him and Lee defending the perimeter and your team has a chance in every game. That's something that can be built around, and should be built around, in any situation. He's the guy that makes for the right situation, for everyone else, not just one lunkhead that might just go and waste all efforts regardless.

Ball dominant pgs like Rondo put up stats and appear valuable - but they don't win. It's why Nash could never win a championship in Phoenix. You can't depend on one player to make all the plays/decisions.

Kidd/Iverson came the closest to winning a ship' but they came out of a very weak conference.

Ball dominant PGs are a crutch.

I'd call Chauncey Billups a ball dominating PG in certain situations. He won.

Iverson and Kidd won in spite of their rosters imo, especially that 76ers team. The common thread between those two teams were they were literally teams where their PGs made the rest of their cast better. However, they got there as a team.

Also, Rondo almost helped them win a 'ship just a few years ago.

In recent years the only "pure" or "traditional" pgs to have won it all are kidd, rondo and maybe billups.

He won, but how important was he to that team? Sam Cassell had a big impact that year in terms of steadying the ship. All Rondo's job then was to play defence. Most of the offence, if I remember correctly stemmed from Allen playing a PG role.

Rondo wasnt involved in most plays offensively when they won the championship, as he wasnt ready yet to be a medium usage player let alone the high usage player he is now. And back then he didnt need to be because they had more than enough offence with the big 3 and 3 point shooters off of the bench.

I think ball dominant PGs can win, it's just a matter of being healthy and having the right pieces around them. If the Clippers can get healthy and maybe make a trade for a better starting SG or SF, I can see a CP3 lead team going all of the way this year if healthy.

Billups may be back tonight so that might be LAC's "better SG" right there....

EDIT: Actually, word is that tonight may be the first time all season that the Clips have their entire roster available to play.
