Is he to far gone for us to make a run at him. He does bring D, or he used to. And it not as if any of our SF are any better. He has hit half his three in Jan.

from a purely basketball perspective i never felt he was a good fit for lakers, championship and all. realistically ron artest is still the same nut that bucked up that horrible shot (that went in) in the fourth quarter of game seven, and he's still same guy who gave one of the most memorable press conferences ever. dude's just over the hill, and was last year.

Which team would really want ron ron and can give them a SF which can help them against Lebron and Peirce which went off on the lakers this year ...?

Ron is such a liability on that Lakers team.
he's so slow and has lost all of his offensive game. he looks passionless out there. His D used to be so stellar because he was so big and athletic at the same time, plus he was mentally hungry and played with a chip on his shoulder... nowadays, he looks so old and tame. im surprised that the master motivator/manipulator, Col. Sanders, isnt able to get more out of him this season. and if he cant, no one will. that being said, even Jackson himself is looking old and tired this season - likes he's had enough. |

Well, they're not letting Ron do what he can do. Anyone who watched his final season in Houston saw what he could do on offense. He's not given the green flag to do that anymore, and I guess he didn't like how his role has decreased.

and what does his 'not getting the green light' have anything to do with his shit defensive numbers? he's averaging career lows across the board. His D was the one thing he was good at in the past... now its mediocre... he only gets by on reputation. |

He'd bring some crazy swagger to Toronto, as well as some brutal press... but it'd be fun! This team could use another guy that would 'ugly' up the game. Where's LX when I need some backup?
With RonRon, over time we could be appreciated as a goon squad at least. |
