Artest Seeks Trade

Ron Ron at it again...

Quote:
In a series of e-mails he sent to ESPN.com late Saturday and early Sunday, Artest continued to lament his decision to pass on an opportunity to become a free agent July 1 by announcing that he is now representing himself without an agent and expressing hope that he will soon be traded to "a team out there that can be more committed than Sacramento to me."
I think he may be a good fit for the raptors, but i donīt think we have enough tradable assets. I think that we should try giving up our 1st overall pick and maybe Kapono or hump and joey?

bargs & joey works in the trade machine

Also AP, joey, cash and a 1st rounder would get it done

Personally, i like the second option. They have enough bigs. A solid 2, a project and a pick equal one nut job!

That Odom for Artest trade makes no sense really for the Kings. It would cost them more and Odom's a FA at the end of the year - there's no real incentive for them to make that trade, so I would dismiss that rumour.

Ron Artest is a card carrying douchebag.

If you want out of Sacramento, you opt out of your fucking contract like you could've done last month.

You don't take the option for another year and then demand a trade 2 weeks later.

He's clearly: 1) A stupid, stupid individual 2) A terrible person to have on your basketball team

As such, Lyrrad, the Kings incentive is to get rid of this ass, dump Odom's contract, and start over with a bunch of guys who don't shave the name of their double wood rap album into their dome.

Ok.. But the thing was that his agent told him not to because there wasnīt a lot of teams in demand only the sixers had money. Until at the last minute the Brand walked away and even then Brand said the clips were gonna re sign him so what was he supposed to think? That he was gonna be a sixer? No, they wanted Josh Smith, so i do not blame Ron, he did not know how the market was gonna shape out, i mean who thought brand and davis were gonna opt out?

Welcome to the NBA...

He wants out of Sacramento now. That has nothing to do with money. He's signed to his current deal and he still wants out.

If he wanted out, he should've bitten the bullet and taken a pay cut two weeks ago.

He showed a remarkable lack of foresight by not opting out, and now he's showing a remarkable amount disloyalty by attempting to force a trade.

He's a victim of his own stupidity.

I'd do Bargnani, AP, Joey, 1st for Artest (if he agrees to an extension) and Salmons.

Our team would be

Caldy/Ukic
Salmons/Kapono
Artest/Moon
Bosh/Hump
JO/Jawai

Only concern would be our thinness up front. Could we squeeze out Sheldon Williams in the deal?

Good luck...

That's about as likely as the 20ppg swingman you claim to be after in your member title.

I don't claim myself to be a 20Ppg swingman o.o?
What're you saying lol. Anyway if we trade Bargnani I would like a big man from their side as insurance as well as Artest.
