Nash was unstoppable. Iverson looked foolish trying to guard him.

the suns are slowly making all the naysayers eat crow.
all of the critics that jumped on them earkly on about trading for an aging shaq are now scratching their heads...
with every game, the team looks to be getting better and more comfortable...

i tell you what, this years playoff's may end up being the best ever.... reminisant of the 90's.

4 very important games on the slate tonight, should make for some good watching(then again everynight has been like this the past month+):

NO@ORL,7PM,LP- What will ORL do to slow down the 9million6hundredthousand800 pick and rolls? NO is 3-1 on the east coast and has this and MIA left, so they could finish it out strong and come home on a very good note with a win tonight since MIA is a guaranteed win for them.

PHI@NJ, 730PM, LP- It's pretty simple for NJ, win or go home. Theyre 3 games behind ATL for the 8 seed with 8 games left. If they dont win a game like this we dont have to see VC in the playoffs for one year, I'm sure he wont be too mad at that.

GSW@SA, 830PM, LP- Statement game for the Warriors. They didnt come out with the intensity needed to win a big game in DEN, now they go into SA who has won like 6 straight and in that stretch Michael Finley hasnt missed a shot. If they lose theyre still in 9th, if they win they can pretty much cement their spot in the top 8 because a win like this can only propel them to a nice stretch run, its unlikely though, even though they beat SA earlier in the year.

PHX@DEN, 9PM, SCORE- Can PHX crush DEN's soul and basically put them out of contention for the playoffs with another huge win? The way PHX won yesterday, itll be interesting to see if theres any lineup changes for DEN and how they come out of the gates, blazing, or tired? Nene played very well in the 1st half yesterday but saw no time in the 2nd half because he couldnt give it a go Karl said, he could be a key peice in trying to get a win tonight. Marcus Bamby also left the game late yesterday after having his manhood shattered by PHX's frontline but is expected to play. Heres hoping PHX ends their season tonight.

the west is insane right now.
look at the standings... its insane.
i truly think that by the end of the season, houston will drop out and denver will squeeze in.
i hope so badly that dallas falls out... that would make my year!

Representing Canada, atta boy Stevey!

Yeah, its a good game, watching it right now. Suns scored like 10 more pts in the 2nd quarter than the 1st.

I hate the Nuggets more than I hate the Spurs right now. Not as much as the Cavs though.

For some reason a month ago I hated the Nuggets more than any team in the NBA, but I don't mind them lately. They're spreading it a bit more now, starting to be fun to watch-ish.

Or maybe I'm just dieing for the Mavs to miss the playoffs.

On a different note... Detroit is already resting their starters, lol. They actually beat Minnesota today without Billups, Sheed, and Hamilton. For some reason I analogize the Pistons as the 40 year old stoner guy who lives on your block and sleeps all day. He's still kind of cool, but regardless. One of these days Flip is gonna realize the reason they don't win the playoffs is because they lose any killer edge by the time the season winds down. He needs to pump them up.

i actually totally agree........
i absolutely hated the nuggets about a month ago, but lately, i havent minded them much and have found myself enjoying their games when they've been on tv.
with even the slimmest chances that the mavs may miss the playoffs, i am rooting for denver badly...
i want dallas out!
and houston shouldnt be in there IMO, they will get swept, i just have this feeling. but maybe that does deserve a spot, just to see Tmac fail in the 1st round again.

DEN just goes isolation every play for AI or Melo if theyre not running, its fucking boring and pathetic.

As for tonight(WED), the biggest game of the year for the Warriors has arrived.

After laying 2 eggs in DEN and SA, their moment of truth is tonight vs the Mavs. Dirk COULD be back but its unlikely. If GSW loses theyre 2 games back of DAL and 1 game back of DEN who has an insanely easy sched the next 3 games. GSW needs to win tonight or theyre fucked basically. Its on SNET west and ESPN btw, 930.

2 very good games on ESPN tonight (friday):

SAS@UTA, 8PM, LP, ESPN- I dont remember the last time SA beat UTA in UTA, and this game is bigtime for who gets homecourt as the season rolls down. Not only that, but UTA has the toughest sched left in the NBA, and games at home like these are must wins or they may slip to as far as 8th.

DAL@LAL, 1030PM, ESPN, RAPSTV- If Dallas wins they can pretty much cement their playoff spot in the west since they have the season series with GSW locked up. GSW is likely to win in MEM tonight, so this is a huge game for Dallas.

Other meaningful games:

PHI@ATL, 730, LP- these 2 teams will be playing a home and home, and if ATL continues their hotstreak, now on a 5 game winning streak, they could surpass PHI and get into a more favorable matchup vs the Pistons(even though its not much more favorable haha, but theyve played the Pistons tougher than the Celts this year that ive watched).

The rest of the playoff teams have easy matchups(NO playing NYK in NO, GSW in MEM, and HOU in SEA) so the ESPN games are huge for playoff seedings tonight.

I think Dallas wins tonight... I get the feeling Dirk's return gave them an emotional lift (and they seem to be figuring out how to play with Kidd a bit more now and playing faster), and historically Dirk has really really owned Gasshole.
