The season is a failure if the Celtics dont reach the finals. They still have another 2 years or so left in them, but this should be their year.

27-8 ORL, youre good MVP

2 excellent games on the slate tonight:

BOS@NOH, 8PM, LP- I am really looking forward to this game so long as I dont go out. How is Boston going to defend the 970000000 pick and rolls NO runs every game? Theyve shown this year that they like to go over the screen and force their PG to chase with their bigman coming out and stopping the ball so the PG can get back, but going under might be a better idea vs Paul. Itll be interesting to see if Paul can jook and jive his way into the lane like he does vs everyone else against Boston or not, because usually theres 1-2 defenders waiting for a penetrator when he gets past the first line of defence. If Paul can solve the Boston D and NOH wins this game he'll be my MVP, because Kobe and Lebron couldnt solve Boston.

HOU@PHX, 10PM, NBATV, SNETW- Pretty good nightcap game as well. HOU off a huge win in GSW. This should be a game where PHX's size comes through and just demolishes HOU. Expect Amare to have 35 pts.

cant wait to see boston and NOH........
boston has carved up the west lately, lets see how CP3 and the hornets fare.

houston will lose to the suns...
this will be a huge game for shaq. houston is so thin in the middle, it wont even be close.

Wow do the Cavs suck on the road since the big deal... down 15 to the Bucks. The same Bucks who lost to the Heat at home.

I cant stand bostons commentators. Their team is perfect, they never do anything wrong. Everyone of their players is the best at everything.

Looks like Memphis is starting to figure themselves out a bit... too bad it's 65 games too late, lol. I'd trade Bargnani for Darko though. He's finally getting it going and they're the same age.

I still think memphis had almost a playoff team, things just thing work for them and they didnt have any luck, they lost like 15 games out 25 or something like only by 3 or less. they played really well against the teams in their conference.

If we really want to trade Bargs, wich I dont, trade him for Gasols brother and something more.

Yeah, coming in I predicted about 40 wins for them this year... the pieces were there with Gay's surge and Navarro being a pleasant surprise, but they just couldn't figure out the defense. Oh and I don't think they'd accept Bargs for Darko anyways, to be honest.

By the way, any time I feel bad about the Raptors this year, I just have to look over at the Chicago Bulls and have a chuckle that we're not them. Another absolutely hilarious/sad fourth quarter meltdown today, they were up 11 going into it and then got outscored 35-17 in the final frame. 3rd time in the last 5 games they had outplayed the other team and had a good lead going into the 4th and then got outscored by 20 in it.

You guys were crazy for thinking the Grizz had a chance. Not enough vets and their PG's arent ready yet, not to mention Darkos their starting center and they have basically no bench.

CP3= MVP. Even with foul trouble he came back in the game and took over. I'm convinced.

Oh yeah, and Bonzi Wells is a fucking beast. Mo's never gonna see another 4th qtr again(not like he was anyway before Bonzi got there, haha). He had like 6 steals alone in the 4th and EIGHT for the game. EIGHT steals, unreal. Not to mention there isnt a guard in the NBA that can guard him in the post, he had 20 last game in the 4th vs mr kobe stopper battier.

Suns look totally great. I'm kinda cheering for them to win it all this year, I think. Phoenix has been a hella tortured franchise, they've competed every decade for 40 years but came a little short every time.

Steve Kerr = big balls. Gotta love it.

Their performance on the court proves that statement wrong. They were awful WITH Gasol. They have some nice players but they dont mesh and theyre lacking veteran leadership.

Too late in the year for that to happen, but it could happen come next year. Problem is Bonzi doesnt give you the outside threat Mo does which helps CP get more room, but Bonzi is so devastatingly good downlow its hard to ignore. Him owning Bowen in the playoffs was one of my favorite things ever.

Nice win for the Suns. I love when I'm right :

Another solid couple games on a lazy Sunday:

SA@DAL, 1PM, ABC- DAL is 0-7 vs +.500 teams since Kidd arrived, and that streak ends today. Theyre gonna come out with bigtime intensity and take this one, if they dont, it wouldnt surprise me to see the Mavs drop to the 8th spot before the season ends, thats how big I think this game is for their psyche.

DET@WAS, 8PM, ESPN, RAPSTV- Sucks Arenas isnt back yet(supposed to be back for their west coAST trip), but WAS should still pull it out at home vs DET who seems to struggle on the road sometimes vs decent to good east teams.

GSW@LAL, 9:30, LP- Game of the night. MASSIVE game for GSW especially if DEN somehow beats us today, DEN will only be .5 back. GSW is coming off a heartbreaker at home vs HOU and needs this win badly. Again, if GSW wins today, I cant see DEN catching them because, like DAL, itd be an insanely big win for their mental frame of mind coming into LA and beating the Lakers, something they havent done in forever.

Apparently Dirk just messed up his ankle pretty bad and had to be helped off the court. The severity is still to be determined, but this could have some significance considering the Mavs are currently in the 7th spot with a game and half up on GS and the Nuggets only 2.5 back for that last spot. Hopefully for their sake Dirk isn't gone for too long.

You can guarantee Denver playing their assess off against us today.
